I've seen the Excalibur range and they do make my food-storage squirrel heart go pitter-pat rofl.
+++ We have several of them... Like 6-7 all total.. All from garage sales or thrift stores...They seem to come available in waves.. You may find 3-4 in one summer and none for the next couple summers.. All have worked well, but we usually 1-2 that quit every year.. All depends on the use they had before we got them.. Still most give good service life at thrift store prices...
We also have 3, ten tray dehydrators from Cabelas out door shop.. Number one has enough miles on it that it on the rare occasion will make a small bit of fan noise for 15 seconds on a start up... Will see how it lasts..

2020-09-11..... NW BC CA.... To continue on with the canning supply crisis...
Here of late about the only 2 size jars we have seen are 1 cup, square, wide mouth we call a "fish jar" About the size of a can of tuna.. Regular mouth 1/2 cup jelly jars... Virtually no lids available.. Standard, wide mouth or Jem size..
It has been reported in parts of the US they are breaking down boxes of jar to sell them individually.. Some for as much as $4 US each..
