Saw these in a Woolworths/Safeway. cocoearth.com.au/product/spaghetti-carbonara/It is a 400g two pouch meal with cooked spaghetti in one pouch and the sauce in another. There are also 3 rice meals available. Meant to be microwaved but it was OK when I put the pouches into boiled water to warm. Made in Thailand, not sure where the rice dishes are made. Aussie owned company. A ready to go meal that may be of interest to someone.

Dolmio do something similar to what you have there
We have a small company over here that does shelf stable meals called ParsleyBox. I've had a number of meals from them and they are brilliant to take camping, as you have done I stand the pouches in a pan of water (saves on the washing up) or the ones sold in trays I decant into a pot a warm through. Can't rate them Highly enough.

To be honest I find most of those shelf stable meals aren't that tasty. I'm actually a bit of a spendthrift so I tend to cheap out if we're going camping. I just take a bag or two of dried pasta and a couple of jars. Definitely heavier, but we never go anywhere that I'd have to hump it up a track or anything like that to worry about the weight. I'd say if you're hiking into your location the way I do it probably isn't a winner! Lol. I usually make my own home made version of meals like this for camping and use a vacuum sealer to store them. That way we can just dump the bag out into a billy or dutch oven and let it do it's thing. I've been slowly increasing my repertoire of pre-made meals for camping. One of my most recent great success stories has been a home made stew with dumplings that all I had to do was open the bag of stew and chuck it in the pot, and portion out the dumpling balls and chuck those on. 30 minutes later it was a slow-cooked meal that we didn't have to keep checking on because all the slow cooking was done at home. SO good

We have a product available that is Uncle Ben brand rice pouches.. Called "bistro" They are shelf stable, and ready to eat.. Warm or cold.. You can carry one in a big shirt pocket under your winter parka, and as long as it is body heat warm, you can get it down.. Like said, maybe not the tastiest, but not bad either.. Not often maybe, but I've had worse..
