Yeah for sure. He's security focused [10k rounds of .22, 15k rounds of other] though he shoots a lot and ex military, so makes sense that he is, it's part of his hobby.
For me I think it's progressive goals, essentially like paying a higher premium for greater insurance.
Do I have 2 weeks of food and water? - tick
Do I have 1 month of food and water? - tick
Do I have 3 months of food and water that will keep for 10 years? - tick
Then there's lifestyle.
Do I grow veggies?
Can I preserve them?
Can I ramp up my production of food if all went to heck?
Can I preserve this amount?
What kinds of recipes taste good with supplies and what's in the garden?
Then there's research/education.
Can I do this or that?
What would I do if this happened?
What can I do to improve my home security?
