hey guys, came across some interesting (awesome imho) products, here- uv paqlite
imo all if their products sound really handy, the fact that they hold charge for 10 hours from even a small dose of uv is even better, and im getting some of the uvo's/necklaces for my family, so we can easily find each other during blackouts etc plus (most preppers fave point!) theyre really cheap and last forever! yay! ^_^

I came across these a while ago. Was going to get one from Fusion Gear, but didn't end up getting any. The thing you need to remember though is that the light source does last a while, but you need to run a flashlight over it. Which means that you would still need to have a working light source before this has any use.

from what i was reading, if you leave it out in the open all day, it ends up with enough charge to go all night, so are great to just clip to your pack or whatever while walking around, or in the sun for a min before it sets ^_^ those uvo's look great for the kids imho, have one on every family member, then the kids would be less scared knowing where you are ^_^ tbh the whole range seems awesome imho! (yes im totally in awe at them atm, when i get some i will be less enthusiastic, perhaps, lol)

Oh Okay. I wasn't aware that they would work just with sunlight. I have only ever seen them used with a flashlight. Sounds like a good item to have though.

yeah thats the mule-lite, seems awesome for say, going through caves etc in case you intend on/are forced to stay the night inside, lol ^_^ they also have a glow mat type thing for in the house (yes they charge via ambient light too, their site goes much more into depth about them than the retailers ever do!) to help with finding things in the dark!
