Saw this on a Facebook group and thought the idea was so worthy I thought I would share it here.

damn that is a cool idea. Like i could have a whole garage full of these no worries. So many cans of beens and spagetti lol! Might have to give tip top a tingle and see if they got some for sale.

Now THAT's a great idea! I've been looking for storage solutions for ages. We have three large shelving systems in the garage for our long term storage, but it's a bit of a pain to rotate products because we always have to move things forward as we use them to replace the stuff in the back (a la 'last in first out'). This set up would make it a lot easier because I could pull the whole drawer out rather than trying to shuffle stacks of cans forward. Be good for storing things that aren't cans too like bags of products or even storage for tools/emergency supplies. Nice find

Prob a good idea as well would be write the expiry dates on the lids of the cans so you don't have to pick through the cans to find the first use cans

Shame i no longer work at a place that has bread trays left out on a back dock day. I was thinking of making one where you feed it from the top and every time you pull one out, the stack drops. So you get a easy system to what is newest. Second thing on the list of thinking was a thermal label printer to put a stick on them with things like: Canned date, date bought and a guestimate of a expiry.
Been collecting pallets from work to strip down and build this, but havnt made it to the build part as im not set on a design yet due to owning different sized cans and shapes.
