It's fascinating, I've experienced a few minor quakes over the years. Generally nothing more than a wobbly bit of 'huh, did I just feel something?'. There was one a few years back when I was still in Melbourne that was a no question that was a quake situation but definitely nothing enough to knock things off shelves. I'd always assumed Australia was a no-quake zone but Melbourne's effort and that article definitely proves otherwise. I guess we all focus so much on the regular problems like drought and fires that other random occurrences like that seem unlikely.
Good shake up to remind us that other risks are out there. Sorry, couldn't help myself with that pun. I'll see myself out hahaha.
