And one not so new but really interesting:- Russian Issue and the one I'd probably opt for in a serious SHTF environment!
I can see something like this becoming unobtainium due to the current climate. It looks to be a very good survival multitool.

Lots of gadgets, but the Russian products always look to be engineered from the stand point of what will work well, last, and be the most useful rather than adding features that will make it sell better.. I did a Google search of this product... First site I opened had them at $16 US, but out of stock.. A number of other sites including ebay, Amazon had them any where from $95 to $150 US... OUCH... Thanks for sharing the info..

I like that ^ tool but I don't think the pliers open up wide enough to be really useful. Good on them for having a go but it wouldn't make me shift from the incumbents...

I had a Leatherman for about 4 years. It actually wore out, the joints got very loose, and despite sharpening the blade properly, it wouldn't hold an edge.
I now carry a Aldi branded Workzone. It too is about 4 years old and showing signs of wear. The screws that hold the bits together wore out, so its now got some high tensile types, and the knife does hold an edge quite well.
The original pouches are long gone, so my daughter has made up a leather belt pouch for it.
WW3, The country won’t be ready, but you can be.

Do yourself all a favour and get the Daicamping DL30 multitool. Its an improved Chinese knockoff of the Leatherman Surge. Got myself one from AliExpress for $58 and very impressed with the quality.
Leatherman are great and all (I have 3 Leathermans - A Wave, Sidekick and Wingman) but they haven't really done much in the market for a number of years and have somewhat stalled. Meanwhile these Chinese companies are waiting their patents out and coming up with better stuff.

I never go anywhere without my Leatherman on the belt, even to church. Its put on in the morning when I get up and the last off at night before retiring. No legal issues carrying it as I am an Electrician and its a tool of trade. Be careful carrying if you don't have a legit reason for needing it. You can be pinched. www.lifehacker.com.au/2018/05/is-it-legal-to-carry-a-knife-in-public/Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.

Victorinox. Have had it for 20 years, even lost it outside for a month. Still works great.
