I recently picked up a black wolf Cambridge 35 on the cheap as a replacement for a rush12- I dont hear many talk about black wolf bags but I’m impressed so far, backed by a life time warranty too.
Certainly not tactical but for the bag you need to just look like a normal school bag it does a good job.

Our bug home bags are based on Australian military bum bags.
Bug out bags are based on Australian military Vietnam packs, with the fiberglass reinforced backing that molds itself to your body.
Add in a smattering of standard hikers rucksacks and that's the line up.

Ive had multiple black wolf products over the years. For the price, the durability has been excellent. The first bag i had was a small 20l backpack with hydration that i used daily for over ten years. I used it for work, carrying gear on the fireground (bushfires) so it took some serious abuse. Had to get rid of it after a rat chewed through the bottom to get a banana inside while i was camping. The zips and fabric stood up to constant dust, water and ash and outlasted multiple generations of more expensive specialist gear.
I was so impressed by my first bags performance that i got another small day pack and a 40l backpack for travelling. Had both for over five years and they still look new.
I recently got into hiking and couldn't find any reviews on blackwolf bags. However, after checking out quite a few bags i came to the conclusion that blackwolf are durable and well priced but not light. Not issue for a day to day backpack but weighed too much for hiking so i went with another brand for a hiking pack.

I have a couple of Blackwolf smaller bags and i swear by them One of them is about 12 years old and its still my main bag for traveling its the perfect size to take as onboard carry on it fits under the seat infront of you on aircraft plus its small enough that it doesn't get in the way when in crowded locations sadly its configuration has been discontinued the next bag i used heavily is a quicksilver backpack its an older version of this one www.quiksilver.com.au/grenade-25l-medium-backpack-3613374667877.html#cgid=men_accessories_bags&start=30&hitcount=46It is to me the perfect bag for overnight trips when traveling and for a smaller compact in the car bag to grab and go sure its not tactical or supper lite but its durable it use to be my work bag that i used for may years when i worked at a smelter the pockets on the outside are a perfect combination and size to stow things you use a lot Its horses for courses the best bag is the one you have that is fit for purpose and comfortable and you can afford it

As I make my own backpacks, it's been very hard for me to choose a design I like. Every time I go to the shops I swing past the backpack section to look for designs I might like. But because I don't really use packs in my normal life, I guess it's hard to pick something special to use. About the only time, I really use a pack these days is if we are on holiday and go to a theme park or something. I've still got a 30L air frame backpack I took around Asia with me 15+ yrs ago in a box that is still in good condition that I bought at Anaconda back in the day.

I've got a big travel bag and a mid-sized day pack made by Joey.
Had them for a couple of years now. Heaps of use. No faults.
Really excellent quality and designed just as I asked.

Mystery ranch's tri zip design is pretty awesome. I would buy one but my blackwolf bags will be around for a while yet.

I have a High Sierra backpack as a grey man get home bag. It's very sturdy, very spacious and suits me great. I also have a a big tacticool pack for a sort of 'more than a day or two' pack but in all honesty it's not really worth it. I haven't had to carry much in it for long so I'm not sure how it would go if I needed to actually drag it around for a week or more. It'd probably be fine for a guy but women have different shapes so it might not be the best option. But given that a lot of this kind of gear isn't really designed for women there aren't many options to be had so as usual we just make do with the best that we can get lol.
