The End of the World is just the Beginning - Mapping the Collapse of Globalization
To follow up on milspec's (excellent) recommended reading suggestion & review of the Sovereign Individual, this is also a book that I think a lot of people here will find interesting. It was published this year and the audio book has up to date views on the Russia-Ukraine thingy...although Zeihan has predicted this for many years in his previous books. I'm assuming the hard copy has these updates too...I intend to get it at some stage so will update here when I can.
This book focuses on Geopolitics and the winners and losers in a world where globalisation is wound back and the US takes a less active role in global security (in Zeihan's view). His theories are based around imploding demographics in most industrialised countries.
If you think the Sovereign Individual made you think something might be coming, Zeihan tells you what it is!
I have found it a fascinating book.
