Price of everything will go up, some due to higher fuel prices, some due to greedy retailers using fuel prices as an excuse to take more profit.
The US have been outplayed again. They should stop selling the Saudis weapons and withdraw support for the war in Yemen, and let the Iranians stick it to the Saudis.

Collecting bits n pieces to build my gasifier, so when petrol is no longer available, or horrendously expensive, we can still function.
Sometimes you need to stop seeing the good in people and start seeing what they are showing you.

Our reserves are held in America. Good point, get some alternative fuels organized people, especially for next winter.

To love rightly is to love what is orderly and beautiful in an educated and disciplined way. Which in reality means we have no reserves at all. The situation that would require us to need them would also prevent them from being shipped here.

Yup, that's right, all it would take is a couple of torpedoes from a enemy sub and we are in a world of hurt, especially if it happens in our winter. Just look at the people going through the harsh winter in Germany without heating.
Cracking on with my alternative fuels research.

Almost all our oil is imported, and comes by sea. And our reserve is/was held by USA, so its probably gone now with Bidens selloff's. We could be in a world of hurt next winter, when it gets cold and oil consumption goes up to generate electricity.

We use coal, not oil, to generate electricity. Well, 75% of it at least.

But we need petrol, well diesel, to move that coal.
Why do a bunch of weird psychos decide how we have to live-as if this planet is theirs ?

Not much diesel, especially at Liddell and Bayswater power Station, which get their coal via conveyor belt from an adjacent open cut mine. And how's the coal mine going to run without a ready supply of diesel? The average digger at coal mines uses an average of 13,000L per day and the haul trucks use 1,500L/12hr shift We are paying the price now for listening to the greenies by stopping our own production of oil wells and the refineries closing up by not spending money on maintenance

It's not the 'greenies'. Oil companies themselves are hesitant to open new oil fields. Look what happened in Alberta with the oil sands.
