We are all set to hunker down and stay in tor the weekend, and holiday... This being the first in 6 years young basement guy has not had to work Christmas day....
So......
If you are still out shopping today and tomorrow... Please be kind to retail people... It is not there fault you waited until Marys water broke to do this......

Happy Holidays to you and Sweetie too, Tim! Thank you for all of your input and knowledge over the last year and more. I always really enjoy your contributions and they make a helpful and appreciated difference to me and my family through learning from you  Happy Festivus to all! I'm not Christian so for me Xmas is a bit different but it's still very much a celebration with family, gifts and amazing food (and probably a few too many frosties lol) so on that note happy cheery season to all no matter what your beliefs. And for anyone that this time of year isn't a happy time for a myriad of reasons, be kind to yourself. Sleep in, have your favourite brekky, and chuck on a fav movie or binge watch the tv show of your choice. We can't change the past, but we can be more comfortable in the future. 🎄🎄🎄 |

Sunday/Sabbath are just arbitrary days anyway. The original idea was that you don't work non-stop. Have time for a proper rest.

Yup, one day a week rest. We look forward to it, catch up on some reading or discussions with overseas hams on the radio.
I'm old enough to know better, but immature enough to do it anyway.

Yep, I see carers getting burned out, looking after elderly relatives.
In order to allow them to have some guilt-free time off, I remind them that even God is supposed to take Sunday off.
(Or whatever day is your sabbath).
