Oh definitely agree with you on that Joey. There's definitely huge amounts of wasteful bloat that doesn't need to be at the top and yet systemically will never go away. I think it's just bizarre how some people can be so flippant and irritated by the system. It's there because, like it or not, it needs to be for unseen services that we all rely on every single day. Without those unseen services, there's more hungry and homeless people on the streets for us all to contend with. There's local area environment issues that no one will contend with. There's research that helps us to better understand and interact with the space that we live in. I think that we can all agree that at the top of every system/corporation/business/organisation is a heap of waste that is absolutely infuriating. Those on top always benefit the most from it and that's the part that drives me batty when I think about it. But I'd much prefer that those kind of unseen services that protect things directly so that I don't have to actually existed. Without them they'd be an us problem and we all have enough to be getting on with without having to worry about organising our local area's trash removal! 😂 But ultimately if our government systems alone lead to the furloughing of huge amounts of staff it's not just the staff that lose their income and support. It's everyone and everything that they support in turn that starts the snowballing, and those people are added to the problem. I think a lot of people forget that.

That's more or less what I was getting at, the Governments are so bloated at the top that if the top was put off for a while, the wheels of Govt would still keep turning for a time, and probably the service may get better.
I certainly wasn't suggesting that Hospitals and the like are over-funded, and they need more, especially in built up areas.bloat, also called jobs for the boys(and girls).
Having been involved in Local Govt for a number of years, I saw the waste and incompetence at the top, also called "jobs for the boys" (and girls). I wasn't a 'yes' man, and showed up some of that incompetence, hence I was and consequently offered a package to 'f-off' and promptly took it.
The withholding of the debt ceiling raising may also be an opportunity for us as preppers to get an idea of what things will be like WTSHTF.
A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.

The biggest problem with our public sector and government departments, is they are always far too top-heavy and with endless backroom bureaucrats wasting money warming seats. Many of those positions could be scrapped and those people put back into front-line positions where they are needed to serve customers directly. How often do you go into a government department office such as centrestink or main roads and see only 1 or 2 people serving with a massive line of people waiting a very long time to be served? The same could be said for the health department, too much budget is wasted on these backroom positions and not on nursing staff levels while every level of government guts the health budget every year in their annual budgets while scratching their heads wondering why emergency rooms are always in the news for ramping and being put on bypass to the next hospital in busy times. Too Top-Heavy has a few meanings and they're both accurate. I'd also add the Top Heavy are also Too Woke.

If this war turns hot, and it probably will, the whole northern hemisphere will be a radioactive wasteland of glass.
Stay put, we wont be immune to the effects of a full on nuke war, but at least we will have 6 months grace before the radiation reaches us to plan and prepare.
The movie "on the beach" was pretty good about that. The ending was that nobody won, everything died.
The Devil saw me with my head down and thought he'd won, until I said Amen.

I like this guy's optimism. And honestly I hope he's right. But as another analyst I watch has pointed out, a week ago it was too late for them to put in play any legislation that might change the scenario. Anything that gets put through now will be a last minute hail mary and may not even be legally effective. BUT I'm equally as hopeful that they already have put through the requisite leg work and we just haven't heard of it yet. It's entirely possible.

German Economy the manufacturing hub of Europe is now officially in recession. Is this the first domino to fall... ? Chinas, also a major manufacturing economy is struggling and slowdown due to tooooo much debt, Dr. copper is down..
With the worlds consumers tapped out - there is nothing left to save the global economy.

My crypto has dived, 25 cents from 75 a few weeks ago.
Doesn't matter as I only have a small investment, and its just to get a idea of how it works. So far its not working !!!
Chap down the road rely's on his share dividends for income and believes that all is well, and still buying more shares.
I do what I want when I want, as long as my wife says it OK.

Yeah I noticed that video ended with 'hopefully'. Not a very promising sign when an analyst says that! 😅

With the worlds consumers tapped out - there is nothing left to save the global economy. Germany without cheap energy is in trouble. Even when they plug into LNG, it will be difficult for them to keep their manufacturing competitive. Like Peter Zeihan says in one of his videos - if you want a BMW buy it now!

So can we now get on with WW3 and quickly be over it? Like I'm hoping before "passing on" I develop some clarity and direction to help guide my kids and gran kids through this shit and out the other side!

Same here, lets get it over with so we can progress with life and rebuilding civilization-perhaps-.
We have prepared this property for independence, and that flows on to the kids as well, they know its all coming down and help in the preps.
I want it to happen whilst Ive still the energy and drive to do what will need to be done WTSHTF. Another 20 years and I probably wont be able to do as much.
That said, if the elite are gunna pull it off, they need to get maximum disruption, and that would put it in the Northern Hemispheres winter. Probably not this year, but after the fiasco they are calling an election, its possible by next October/November it may get hot. That gives another 12 months + for WW3 to develop in Ukraine, China to fall apart with the calling in of the belts and roads loans to disadvantaged countries who cant pay them back, and the general slide into the mire of crap that western nations are heading to.
Unknowns are many, a CME is on the cards, more power plants closing in the belief that global warming/cooling/whatever is happening, the dementure ridden Biden pressing the big red button, and so on.
History is coming to a close, ready for it ?
The real pandemic is how stupid everyone is.

But be prepared to pay exorbitant prices for parts Who buys parts? I turn them over at 60K Well then these days, with the long waiting periods for new cars, you must be ordering a new car every few months. My daughter just put a deposit on a new Toyota hybrid suv. Waiting list is 18 months.
