Yip, Turkey just got hit by another +6.4, it will trigger earthquakes at other areas across the globe.
The rift earthquake zone off US west coast is locked and loaded and ready to go i.e. overdue. An earthquake is a release of pressure that builds and a good thing. The big one off US west coast has not released for a very long time and when it does most of costal California will be gone, due to land movement and Tsunami.

Don't underestimate the tsunami threat on the coast. That's one reason we moved several hundred km inland and 150 meters ASL, and over 2 mountains.
Luckily, most of Australia is very stable geologically, and the quakes we felt when we lived on the coast were apparently connected to the mining industry's activities.
When one tugs at a single thing in nature, one finds it is attached to the rest of the world.

Great video but I take issue with what the guy (Goldfinger - classic!) said at the end that humans can learn to survive via warnings etc. I think the US will get massacred when this event hits - why? Go check out some of the latest release videos of the Japanese Tsunami in 2011.
On one of the most earthquake prone countries on the planet where the people should all be aware of what nature can dish out to them, the amount of people there who walked down to the waters edge to check it out was gob-smacking. Americans, of all people, will think it cant happen to them and they will get smashed.

MWT this is for you only, my most favourite vision of all time is Joe Brant 1937. He perfectly describes today's dress standards and vehicles, and monster EQ that hit US east coast. Events of a EQ and description is beyond 1930's. Understanding. www.futurerevealed.com/christian/modern/1937-california-quake.htm
