A place for juice recommendations.
Ive got an abundance of mandarins that have fully ripened on the tree. For lack of anything better to do I began juicing them. Even though I can’t drink orange juice.
mandarins make the best juice ever. Very superior to OJ
I will be trying fully ripe Tangello next.

Are you drinking it fresh, or are you going to preserve it. My mother used to preserve orange juice, but it always had a different taste, I think because of getting some pith in there.

I LOVE fresh mandarin juice. I don't drink juices of any kind as a rule (that whole, "if you don't eat the whole fruit, you don't get the fibre" thing) but I'd definitely make an exception for mandarin juice 🤣. My in-laws have a massive influx of limes at the moment. I'm tossing up seeing whether it's worth juicing some and freeze drying it for storage. Any citrus is a really good thing to have in food storage. I've also seen in some American forums that people like to can citrus sections for later use. I'm not sure what you'd use them in, but could be worth a go.

Many years ago I had a friend whos mum was a British war bride from the 1940s.... She had a spice recipe for home made tomato juice.. It was not spicy hot, just flavorful.. I had the recipe, but lost it years ago..
I suppose a Google search would turn up a kind of base line spice recipe that could be adjusted to personal taste... Likely would be good in plain grocery store tomato juice as well as in home extracted juice.. Sounds like a challenge to work on a spice blend....
