At least he's stopped with the presentation style he had a few years back. Waving hands, screaming, shouting, talking so fast you can barely understand him. As I said back then to someone that brought him up. If he's SO dedicated to distracting you with loud noises, waving hands and impossible speech patterns it's a distraction from what he's saying. Why would he want to distract you from what he's saying unless he doesn't want you to actually think about what he's saying. I find Brand's characterisation of Carlson as a 'Journalist' to be disingenuous at best. But Brand always draws the longest bow he can find, and then klieglights his own logic errors by trying to cover it up with a dodgy distraction comment. Like "You could argue that Ukraine has a right to join NATO but that leads to what good even IS NATO?". The really pathetic attempt at deflection makes me think he knew that was the wrong thing to say to get his argument across. He also knows that the first part of that sentence is a strong statement, so he has to make it less strong by getting you to instantly think about something else. So that you don't think to yourself "Yes, well they do have the right...". He just wants to get as much out as he possibly can to stoke outrage. This wasn't supposed to be a critique of Brand specifically. I can't stand Tucker Carlson either hahahaha. He's a commentator who writes opinion pieces, not a journalist. I also think he has no idea what he's walking into, but the Dunning-Kruger effect is strong in that one and some people you literally can't save from their own ego lmao. I know virtually nothing about Brand or Tucker Carlson I've seen Brand on YT a few times and have never watched Tucker Carlson at all, all I know is in Global MSM they are stirring up a serious shit storm so I know they are on target! Right now the "Big End of Town" are calling for Tucker Carlson to be charged for aiding and abetting a "War Criminal" (Putin) and the fuggen interview hasn't even happened yet!

We are currently seeing the collapse of the US empire. I predict civil war there within 10 years.

Cool, 30 minutes cities, no need to own a car, just use public transport. Wonder how people will react when you catch the bus or train to the range with a rifle over your shoulder. Farkwits.

Quote from the above article.
We are looking at SELECTIVE DEFAULTS on sovereign debt as governments will simply stop repaying anyone who opposes them. World trade has transformed due to this major crisis, so rest assured that this was not a one-year hiccup as both nations seek to lessen their reliance on one another. War tends to support the dollar and the first two world wars are what made the dollar the reserve currency. War is completely and utterly inevitable due to the debt crisis as there is no way out.

Funny how anyone who opposes Putin in any way, falls from an open window 10 stories up.
I hope Carlson can fly !!

Putin isn't stupid. He wants airtime in the west and this is how he gets it.

Victoria, Power outage. Grid and local infrastructure not so resilient. A company that supports mines all over Australia with blast monitors, that are requirement for monitoring ground vibration and air pressure from mine blasting is based in Victoria. Web page and access to monitors is down. There is a a scheduled mine blast that I have to give authorization's for,,, creating issues. Got an email they have a back up generator but it ran out of fuel - an not sure if commes lines are working. Preparedness mindset is so limited. We will shortly hear in the news how people are out of meds and water and military called in to help. The time is not to far away that there will be a global issue and support will be months away... Just today Gov has announced additional $14.4m for emergency hardship as people are not coping. Those Prepper sin Victoria let us know how your are doing.. But difficult to give assistance from NSW, but one never knows where help is needed. Labor announces $14.4m for emergency food relief programscathnews.com/2024/02/14/labor-announces-14-4m-for-emergency-food-relief-programs/Vick Stormswww.9news.com.au/national/victoria-news-storms-bring-down-powerlines-and-rip-apart-backyards-in-victoria/3cdd39ee-9648-4c53-80f0-14f9043539e1

Oh yes, thats what prepping is all about. I hope that those affected think about the time that the power may never come back on.
Apparently u cant buy a generator down there.
Thats why we prep, maybe more will wake up.
Being totally off grid it doesn't worry us, but I do feel for those who are not in the position to do it.
We have had a think about the animal feeds we buy, cat food, dog food, chook pellets and what we would do if we couldn't get them any more. Chooks are no a great issue as they can be let out to forage well enough, dogs, well there's always roos around, but that might be our food source, as for the cats, they had better start catching the mice and rats around, they wont starve !
I have enough bee supplies for several years, foundation wax etc, so we will have lots honey to trade with.
People will be all fired up now, do some prepping, then nothing else happens and they fall back into the old ways and forget. Just life.
I tried to drown my problems, but they can swim.
