Wow wow all these things were on my prediction for 2024, but still very scary to see the ferocity and intensity of them unfolding. 
Iran now engaged in the Israel conflict, Hurricane was way more devastating that I thought, that with the dock worker strike has potential for major upset.

Gold and  energy (oil & coal) up, financial markets down.  Fundamentals are starting to count.  Now to see if Trump can survive till Jan inauguration.  

Possible Aussie repercussions of the US strike - Keep in mind, this is a bit of an inflammatory piece BUT I do think it's worth stocking up on non-perishables if you have the means to, because it'll mean you'll be paying today's prices rather than next month's gouging while the network catches up.

That’s how science works nowadays: ignore any evidence that goes against the popular narrative.

Yup, the radio room has its own 12 volt dc, 1,000 amp hour battery supply, 1Kw solar and regulator, 2 kw inverter, and a link to a daughters solar as well. An emergency link is also available to the main power system, plus a backup of a 12 v sealed battery. That's how important I believe comms will be WTSHTF. There is a 650 watt inverter/generator as well available if needed.

I also have several backup HF transceivers, plus my original homemade unit. All in emp enclosures.







Ultimately, skills trump supplies and tools. With the right knowledge, you can make just about any tool you need.

I am assuming its all going down, the ground stations may have some form of backup generators, but when u consider the number of links between us and the net, servers and so on, they all have to work. I know the net can self re-route in case of a major failure, but multiple failures, perhaps not.

The electric grid is much the same. Once it goes down, its going to be difficult to get it back up again.

And, I don't really care either. Self sufficiency gives one a calmness that's hard to describe.

Stupid daylight saving is coming up, Being so close to Qld I ca appreciate their position that its not needed. Perhaps a case can be made south, but I really don't like it.

What a $hithole. If I was in the US I’d be prepping like there’s no tomorrow, because it’s looking very much like there might not be.

Its all going according to the plan. WW3 is next.

He's got the prepping part right though, and its not only the US that should be prepping like mad.

"You should have "preps" right now:

Emergency food, water, medicines you need to live on. A generator to keep your refrigerator going and maybe a light or two on in the house. FUEL for that generator.

Flashlights for each room in your home or for each family member, and plenty of spare batteries for each one.

A portable radio for news and information, with spare batteries for it, too.

You should probably have COMMUNICATIONS GEAR, a CB radio with antenna or a HAM radio (shortwave) so you can communicate locally with nearby neighbors, and keep abreast of world events and news.

You have to be able to cook without electric. Have a barbecue grill with spare propane or charcoal/ lighter fluid. Have a MANUAL can opener.

GAS-UP all your vehicles.

Get some cash money from the bank or from an ATM so you have cash. If war breaks out, and we get hit here, it will be pandemonium. If communications networks go down, all your plastic credit/debit cards won't work, and nobody in their right mind, will accept checks. So if you have cash, you will be able to eat. If you don't . . . . you won't.

Nobody is coming to save you if war breaks out. YOU are responsible for yourself, your family, and your property. Have guns and ammunition to protect kith and kin from the marauders who will no doubt come because they made no preps, and they will simply steal yours.

Today, is a pivotal day in our world. There is no turning back now. The Israelis have sealed their fate - and ours too. Life as we know it, may never be the same."
