And the past month we haven't had a day over 23c, though Monday will be 33c.

While this was anticipated, I think a lot of people are going to be surprised by it. We're always told it's going to be a very hot summer and people just shrug it off. I'll be keeping an eye on our oldies this year. They have great aircon and are very good at shutting everything up to keep the cool in, but I do think we'll have to growl at them to stop right before lunch sometimes because they're the 'just keep swimming' types and might push it a bit too hard sometimes. Particularly my father in law who has a great little wood working shed that's hot as hades BEFORE summer even kicks in.
I'm also planning to buy a couple of air purifiers. After the fires in 2019 and not being able to breath for a few weeks, I don't need that in my house again!

The worlds warming, we are coming out of an ice age, and a hot planet isn't necessarily a bad thing as it will increase plant growth and rainfall. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Glacial_PeriodBring a gun. Even better, bring at least two guns. Bring all of your friends who have guns.
