Hi all,
I haven’t been following the gossip or anything, but can someone please explain in plain English what the changes the new Radiocommunications (Amateur Stations) Class Licence 2023 (amateur class licence) involve? These are the changes that are commencing in February this year (I just got a letter from ACMA about them but it doesn’t really describe what is happening).
how are these changes different to what was previously inplace for our licenses? And what do the changes mean?

I think its bureaucratic horse s..t. They just want to complicate things so they can keep themselves in jobs.
From comments in the radio club, not much will change, apart from an increase in fees. Why doesn't that surprise me.
My favorite conspiracy theory is that everything is gonna be all right...
