Let’s me preempt this discussion to say I am not a royalist - far from it. And I detest the royal family etc….BUT something seems to be badly wrong with that bunch now, and there are plenty of theories and wild speculation.
Let’s look:
- kate hasn’t been seen for 2 months. Not even a blurred photo shot by some free lance slimey journo. Nothing zip. This was after her emergency dash to hospital 2 months ago.
- King Charles announces cancer after he goes into hospital for a pancreas issue but we are assured he doesn’t have pancreatic cancer (but we still see photos of him in cars, walking around etc).
- prince William staggers and drops something at some formal presentation
- Harry flies 16 hrs to see King Charles for 12 minutes and then stays in a hotel (and not in the palace with hundreds of rooms) then flies 16 hours back
- no signs or photos of Williams kids anywhere. There is always some regular photo of the family popping up somewhere but none in the last few months (coinciding with Kate’s disappearance). Wou;don’t some slimey free lance journo been able to grab some type of shot?
- prince William pulls out of a service where he was meant to give a talk on the passing of his god father (this service was on the same estate where William lives and only about 300 metres from his residence). They send price Andrew and Fergie in his place. This was his god father and he didn’t go and instead they Andrew the pedo in his place!
- and now the important strange thing - the British press is leaving all this alone. Nothing in the tabloids about these events. There is plenty of twitter speculation, but nothing in print. No blurred long distance photos, no regular sightings etc. no pictures of flowers for Kate. Knowing the sleazy British press system - why the quietness on these strange events (especially lack of photos of Kate etc).
weird things. Again I am not a royalist, but everything seems strange. Some hidden gems here I think…
but I warn you - if you research this stuff then you’ll get go down a rabbit hole. Weird and curious. Maybe we are seeing the unravelling of the royals now….

You know, I actually hadn't been paying attention to all that. To be honest, I tend to ignore the royals and their shenanigans. I have a great deal of respect for a couple of them. Literally two lol. But the rest of them I'm a bit 'meh, whatever'. As a result I've not really been noticing the noise or lack of around their various health concerns etc.
But you make a pretty good point. Lots of silence on that front and it's DAMN hard to get the skeezy tabloids over there to shut up when they get a hold of something so how are they managing it? William not showing up to that event and being so close... That's suss as heck imo. I saw mention somewhere (although who knows how reliable it is, it was a random comment from someone one a random article) that the firm have said that Kate won't be back for a few months and that she's working hard while she recovers. Given that they seem to be from the conservative side of the family it could be that they still hold hard to the concept of not showing weakness, but that seems to be a strange bow to draw given the king's announcement of his cancer treatment.
It's definitely interesting. The fact that they've managed to button up the press and that not a single pap has managed to scam a shot is pretty telling. And there would be paps out there climbing trellises and using long-range lenses about three feet long if only to get a partial shot of them right now because the money for such a shot would be astronomical given the media blackout that's going on around them. Iiiiiiinteresting...

I'm not much of a follower of there lives.. But a bit interested from the stand point of how the family has been involved in world history during and since WW2... And being I'm about King Chucks age I can only imagine it has been a chore growing up and living in that kind of fishbowl.. Too a point feeling a bit sorry for the guy and kind of choosing to respect his, there privacy.. Also best wishes for any medical issues he may have..

The rabbit hole is getting deeper. Something is up….
Last week a pap photo was released of Kate in a car - and it was an obviously staged shot with a very dubious looking body double. Last night a photo was officially released by the palace and sent to the international news bureaus but now all those bureaus have pulled the photo on the lines that it had been amateurishly edited and changed. basically the photo is a mashed up fake. This is after the palace said it was real and declared it as an official image.
So once again, a missing princess (Kate). Last week we had a body double in a staged pap shot. This week we have a faked photo that news bureaus have pulled (which was meant to be an official image). Then we also have Camilla on vacation, and William not turning up to engagements and Charles doing the chemo thing….and don’t forget Kate hadn’t been seen since before Christmas.
This getting exciting. It looks like the institution is falling apart. People are starting to ask questions. Now who was it that said the British royal family is the worlds biggest con…

On the news a bit ago now there was a 15 second report vaguely mentioning ...an abdominal surgery... I'm no rocket scientist, but have enough life experiences to figure out a woman close to 40 years old, that mean hysterectomy.. But that is none of my business..

You could be on the money Tim, she could have had a hysterectomy. That absolutely is something that can take several months to completely recover from and it's one of the few things that I could see the stuffy old 'firm' hiding from people instead of saying something about it and normalising an experience that a lot of women go through. But what would I know, I'm not a royal. Thank goodness. Hahahaha. The interesting point of note that a lot of people are speculating about is that the image with all the edits to it. Charlotte's left sleeve cuff, Kate's right hand, and the smudging around young mate's right leg under the counter (I can't remember his name lol). They're all so subtle that they're hard to spot... And make it REALLY easy to miss that she's not wearing her wedding/engagement rings in this photo. Now I don't know if that's why it was done. I highly suspect it wasn't, purely because if you wanted to hide the fact that you weren't wearing them you'd just place the hand so that you couldn't see the hand at all. This is a conspiracy theory that I'm totally happy to speculate wildly on because frankly, I don't think it's anything too dramatic. I think it likely is just a health concern that she wants to deal with in private and everyone deserves that right. But still, it's fun to let the theories run wild haha.  |

Take that tourism away and they are in massive trouble. |

I don’t know, if she had abdominal surgery 6-7 weeks ago then would she really be wearing skin tight jeans like that now?

Oh that's not even a little bit surprising. I was wearing skinny jeans and stilettos about six weeks after a major abdominal surgery because I had an event to go to. I wasn't particularly comfortable but I was moving freely and with some good painkillers, if you'd not specifically been told you'd have no idea. Most skinny jeans these days are a high blend of spandex and cotton so they have an inordinate amount of flexibility and softness. Not to mention, compression garments are essentially a given for abdo surgeries if there's a lot of swelling and skinny jeans fit the bill wonderfully. It feels very supportive and comfortable to have light pressure on the area after surgery.
It's amazing the amount of abdominal pain most women can disguise. Most of us have been doing it since our very early teens. Of course I can only relate it to my abdo surgery and previous c-sections so what feels comfortable and helps recovery for me might be very different for her. It's all speculation of course!

Well, there we are. Catherine has cancer, and is undergoing chemo. I don't have a thing for the royals, but I do have a thing for people suffering no matter what colour the spoon in their mouth. Wishing her a speedy and effective recovery. fook cancer.
