This actually turned out really nice for an experiment! It will feed 4 Adults and 1 small child! Ingredients 2 tins of chicken (354gms x 2) Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon of moroccan seasoning 1 tsp chicken stock 2 tsp curry powder pepper (how ever much you like) 1 clove of garlic or garlic powder 1 onion (i forgot this) 1 chilli (or omit I used a dash of cayenne pepper) a little oregano or thyme oil tin of tomatoes tin of coconut milk (sorry not shown in picture as I added it later) rice some shallot or coriander for top Method 1) Put rice on to boil (use whatever method you like) 2) Fry up garlic and onion in oil! 3) Wash brine out of tinned chicken and mix with some lemon juice (use either fresh or lemon squeeze bottle) 4) Put chicken in pan and mix through seasoning, chicken stock, curry powder, pepper and chilli or cayenne powder) 5) When chicken is well coated with spices add tin of tomatoes and mix well 6) Add oregano 7) Add coconut milk 8) Add in cooked rice and let simmer a little. Serve into bowls and garnish with shallots or coriander. Attachments:

Nice one Rem...Yummmmmy.. I think we need a Recipe Post or page...or,or,or a "APF Preppers Cook Book!!!!" Yep that will work..  Every two hundred recipes, we will put out a Cook book and the profits can go to buy FAK to give away or something like that...Just a thought! |

I clicked on them and they just got bigger - still upside down - but bigger.

The rule is the meals must be made from food storage and from things that can be grown in a yard! |

Yeah I know wolf sorry am just trying to make this our own! The things they have available in USA are not always readily available here. Would like it to be based on the things we can just walk into a supermarket here and get easily. Hope that makes sense! If you can come up with your own meal in a jar from ingredients that you can find in supermarkets here then by all means! You can find recipes you can adapt to fit food storage meals. |
