I preferred it much better in the old format and it should be remembered it is a bit delayed with the updates. One closer to home is - www.ga.gov.au/earthquakes/it is from the - Geoscience Australia — Earthquakes @ GA and a bit more relevant to us locally. (I use it frequently throughout the day). (If you have been watching this site previously you would have noticed the build up of activity that had the volcanic eruption close Darwin the other week). Overall the frequency and intensity have been on the increase in Australia over recent months from 1.+? mags to the occasional 2.+? mag intensity. Last few weeks I have seen mostly 3.+? and 4.+? magnitudes - all focusing on the same region.
