Did you know that SPAM was created in 1937 in the USA? During WW2 it was shipped over to UK and Russia to help supplement the rations these countries were living with! It was sent out through the Lend Lease agreements the USA had with those countries. Many people wondered what the letters SPAM stood for and it turns out it is SPiced hAM, although some like to call it Specially Processed American Meat! Spam also features in a well known Monty Python sketch!
