Daniel, you ate correct. That's why water coolers in computers are always leaps and bounds ahead of a fan/heatsink coolers in performance.

If power went out there are very old school (like pre ovens even) ways to make jerky, over a fire on a rack. This is believed to be one of the first ways to preserve meat that wasn't too be eaten within hours of a hunt

they do it to reduce down hurricanes too. except the initial function is to drop the temperature of the air. it would be interesting to see how this would be weaponised though.

Which one are you talking about wolfstar? I've got a Maxpedition 'active shooter' satchel, I was planning on throwing it in with all the gear I'm selling at the moment but forgot. www.extac.com.au/messenger_bags_s/173.htmany bar the condor messenger bag would be ideal lol, but then i also have to try and clear cash with P.P :/

Hmmm, well I'm at home, so that's an advantage, but I'm kind of in the same boat as SR. Finding the 3 year olds shoes is always a challenge lol. As far as food etc I'd be screwed thanks to P.P. lol. I have seeds and rice and a few bits n bobs but that's not exactly going to last long enough to get a crop to maturity. And if we were to bug out, even more screwed. :/ but that said I know plenty of survivalist shelters traps etc so I think we would survive, just not thrive as well as I'd like, lol

P.P said that the govt is trying to crack down and stop many parents from doing h/s, is that right? Regardless is still prefer her out of that system. She is in year one atm but I wouldn't start until next year anyhow. Also will be easier then as I'll have my license then and will be able to take the girls on day trips out to different museums etc And thanks ^_^ I really do appreciate that you'd take the time to do that ^_^

Your own program especially! I've just heard a lot of mixed feedback on home schooling. But the way my daughter is going at school I'm getting more and more inclined this way.

Yeah heard of them but never used it! We tried the ACE program once it was terrible for us but I found KONOS worked well and my own programs that I created. Am working on one for my almost 5 year old based on the NSW board of studies outcomes! Oh I'd love to hear more about this!

Oh I've looked at them before for storage before, imho they're pretty affordable for what you're getting so long as they're not damaged or rusted out. Even some of the container companies have not too bad prices delivered from Sydney. I think a relative recently got a 20 footer delivered for like 5-7k. I'll have to check how much it was now, lol. Mind you the delivery would have been at least a quarter of that (he lives not far from where we do, major downside to rural living, delivery lol)

Very cool, I wouldn't have ever thought to use the filler in nappies in either of those ways! But yeah the govt is pretty retarded in some (who are we kidding, most) of their ideas.
