Agree but that's why u have to wage guerilla warfare , blending in with the population, taking soft targets not military ones Has been done ww2 Vietnam Iraq Afghanistan, but the west was on the receiving end Be interesting if we had to be the terrorists/ resistance I hope we'd do a good job!!

This is one reason why I want a fire shelter, my retreat about 3 years ago. Grass burns as well as forest it seems. The fire shelter would go into the rise just behind and to the right of the cabin. Those trees are slowly being thinned out.
Looks like your building got close! One of our issues in vic is fireproof buildings ( as well as a bunker) Was only talking about this with a fellow prepper yesterday Steel , concrete and fireproof insulation is the way I think I will go

Dried legumes are a prep pantry staple. As are canned beans. I favour the canned variety for two simple reasons - they require less water (as they're already soaked), and less fuel (as they're already cooked). Perhaps this is due to my limited water storage and opsec regarding certain fuel types where I live. Does anyone have comparative information regarding storage space requirements of canned beans vs dried beans + water for soaking & cooking? I've never measured the water required to prepare dried beans, but surely it must be greater in volume (and therefore storage space) than their canned counterparts... Shinester! Spreadsheet !!!! Quick don't miss your oppurtunity

Question Team. I am liking this idea regarding building your storm shelter etc into the side of a hill. I can see it working, (being covered in earth etc to provide thermal protection against forest fires) however am left wondering... With the fire raging all round you, wouldn't it burn up all the oxygen, ie you will be safe from the flames etc, however would you end up suffocating instead... Currently looking at a property in a heavily forested area, although it doesn't have a hill as such to dig into, there is a reasonable slope where you could dig into and down a bit and then use the spoil to achieve the same aim... Are there any experts on here who could enlighten me. Am thinking maybe getting a couple of spare dive tanks to overcome this however further questions arise... ie how long would the fire burn for, then what sort of timeframe would we be looking at before the smoke clears and you could breath again... (am mindful of the big fires in Canada.)equaling X number of tanks per person.. all generally speaking of course as each fire would be different... but at least this would give me a reason to stay or bugger off till its over.... thoughts we have a fire bunker built into a hill with air( scuba) tanks And some carbon dioxide absorbers The question of how long you could last in it is very difficult and many variables E.g how many people , how big the shelter and the people, claustrophobia etc It would be very uncomfortable stuffy claustrophobic hot and the side effects of high carbon dioxide, but if the alterative is death by fire I think I would cope It is important to have well sealing fireproof and smoke proof doors and the positive pressure an air cylinder provides helps stop smoke entering Also need a means of viewing outside so u don't have to open the door to see if it's safe to go out

Same reason people are pissed about aussie farms are being sold... Company A owns Company B in Australia and C in China. Company B buys farms in Australia and exports all output to Company C at a loss. They claim government tax breaks and funding as they're operating at a loss. Company C sells Australian food to Chinese at huge mark up. Company A wins. Australian public loses as market forces drive up Australian food prices. Australian government can only stop this by stopping food exports which will damage lots of Australian owned businesses and piss off the Chinese government which they will never do. And company A buys off politicians A to Z to do all these deals

With all this Chinese buying of western farms there must be some money going into politicians panama bank accounts to let this happen Tend to think it puts China in a vulnerable position if the west stops debt payments and food exports!!

Love to camo up my containers but worry about piling dirt up against them and on the roof due to collapse and rust Think they would need serious reinforcing

Have a Remington 300 blackout with an ultra fine thread I had trouble getting a muzzle break or tap and die Think it was 5/8 ultra fine An engineer gun nut mate of mine imported the correct die from the states( apparently it is a common muzzle break/ can over there) but I found cleavers had a muzzle break that fitted perfectly

Minor wounds need prompt attention with cleaning, antiseptic and dressings to stop infection like necrotising fasciitis Water boiling for drinking All basic stuff but essential in a crisis
