i wonder if by "army ammunition" they mean an individual with a weapon can have personal ammo or is that just a blanket no ammo at home rule. Peter Helliar was a ABC stand in presenter and interviewed his twin brother, who is a doctor with the red cross based in Switzerland. The brother said it was nothing to see a young bloke walking down the road in the rural areas with a rifle, apparently on his way to a range to have a shoot. but no dates were given for these events so may predate the law changes.

I often use kinchrome and find they are good value. I bought a Trojan chisel in a moment of need and found it was soft metal and would not hold a good edge

I have committed myself to producing all of our cauliflower, broccoli, capsicum, jalapeño,zucchini tomato and cucumber ( where seasonally possible) I will try sweet potato but not hopeful of bountiful harvests there. We have been spending about $20 plus approx My plan is to save $1000 per year and be better at growing. I have now built suffient beds and the compost process is ongoing well.

My understanding is quick cook oats are easier to digest and if cooking they are quicker so conserve energy. Just need a bit of vit c and good to go with that condensed milk.

Make sure you don't have secondary gps units I your vehicle or iPads etc. otherwise go for it. My company ute had a tracker that told them where I was where I'd been and if I was driving over speed limits. Where I may have stopped too long for fuel

I can think of two case off the top of my head involving phone tracking. The murder of Jill maher and the current investigation of a missing Melbourne mother, who's husband pinged off towers in the same area as her phone was last located. They both are using the triangation method and so are not super accurate in location. Jill mahers murder used other electronic tracking like road tolls also.
Like all technology, dna, gps, Internet thermal imaging and toy planes. It is very useful to the good guys and the bad guys. Unfortunately I am not sure which, witch is which.

For me, the boundary fence should be fox resistant/proof as that allows you to be more flexible with inside facilities. Ie Geece in orchard, chickens moved in simple tractors. Fox proof means dollars on it but you save on internal fencing. A little negotiating with neighbours obviously required. The less fences internally the more machinery/rotary hoe friendly it is.

The report reads like it will be obligatory to store the food.
"The population will be obliged to hold an individual supply of food for ten days," the newspaper quoted the government's "Concept for Civil Defence" - which has been prepared by the Interior Ministry

Take it easy on China. Those islands are freshly minted historical islands. Been part of China's sovereign waters since before they ate mandarins. Sun tzu said "cruise missle beat small island every time, except when it don't"
the jets on the island are civilian jets armed only for their own self defence, same with the civilian torpedo boats that are for recreational purposes.

3000 litre tank fills from roof, however not sure of it is potable, as it has an overflow that rats could get into as they like to do when poisoned, will have to empty and take off mess and have a clean out with pool sieve. About 20 litres in bottled water 2 200 ltr blue drums and 2 more available if required. Also a pool with 20 k plus of not potable but usable for washing etc.

Turmoil in the Sth China sea will give Putin a chance to be naughty in Europe but as said earlier in thread, it will be half way between hot and Cold War primarily for domestic consumption and the people of the world will be the ones who suffer with food and fuel shortages. Appease China and they take more, resist and it will be the same. They will take as much as they think they can get away with. USA sail byes and rhetoric will not be enough.
