All plastics bags breakdown even if under cover! Any oil product in contact with them will speed up the breakdown process. Sun makes it happens quicker. In a sealed airtight container they might be a lot slower to crumble.

If you get hurt or have health problems after being enlisted you are in for a sad time. Most of my ex reg mates are struggling to get looked after and generally would not join if they had their time over again. I do understand the need for job security. Try some of the mining companies in Qld before taking the plunge!

Rob Gray and the Solicitor
A big city lawyer went duck hunting in Gin Gin Queensland. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a prepper Rob's field on the other side of a fence.
As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly bearded gent drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing.
The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."
The old prepper replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here."
The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in Queensland and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own."
The old prepper smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we settle disputes in Gin Gin . We settle small disagreements like this with the 'Three Kick Rule.'"
The lawyer asked, "What is the 'Three Kick Rule'?"
The prepper replied, "Well, because the dispute occurs on my land, I get to go first. I kick you three times and then you kick me three times and so on back and forth until someone gives up."
The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.
The old prepper slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the attorney. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy steel toed work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees!
His second kick to the midriff sent the lawyer's last meal gushing from his mouth.
The lawyer was on all fours when the farmer's third kick to his rear end, sent him face-first into a fresh cow pie that the scrub turkeys had been digging in! The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and remaining strength and very slowly managed to get to his feet. Wiping his face with the arm of his jacket, he said, "Okay, you old fart. Now it's my turn."
The old prepper smiled and said, "Nah, I give up. You can have the duck."

If anyone needs solar panels in the south east qld area let me know as I have a supply of full sized panels at $50 each plus a little freight. Watts vary from 175 to 220, but can be obtained in batches for larger systems. These things are cheap so for my money we should be all getting some while they are available. I plan to have 40 - 60 panels stored away for a rainy day as they last for decades! We have one old panel here (solerex brand) which is over 25 years old and still puts out 5 amps at 18 volts!

I use cash to buy items cheaper, get work done quicker and cheaper! Government depts are now not accepting cheques for some services. Had a cheque I wrote to birth deaths and marriages reg returned the other day saying no can pay with cheque!!!!!! And our state is going broke! I wondered if I wanted to make the last ballon payment on our freeholding for $17,000 if they would refuse the cheque? If it is not cash it is barter. A couple of weaner cattle gets out 2 km driveway graded and repaired. Hay is cheaper to buy with cash as is most other consumable farm items. Same goes for firearms and ammo purchases. Especially if no receipt is asked for. I do not think I will see cashless fully implemented in my lifetime.

The more than one wife part is ok. But really I have enough trouble with the one I have already. I can not imagine trying to cope with 2-5 women all annoyed at you at the same time!
