I'm grateful for the public health system we have. Particularly the underpaid & over worked nurses that have been looking after me for the last couple days while I'm layed up in John Hunter with a broken jaw. God bless their cotton socks!

I'm grateful that my sister is able to open up to me and to lean on me, she's always been a strong person but her life is in a mess right now. She called me today to let me know she didn't have a brain tuma but they still don't know what's wrong with her, she may have MS though but till she's done with all the tests.

Thanks, I can understand how not knowing can be as I've gone through something similar. I spent 2 yrs going through tests to find out what was wrong with me, then in Oct 2005 they told me I had MS. It was good to know as I could then learn what I needed to work with it, I've learnt how to tell when I'm going to have a bad day and how to cope with when I done.

Sorry to hear that as well! I've been through something similar recently with my sister, they thought she may of had bowel cancer, but turns out it wasn't! What a relief! Yes I think once you have a diagnosis you can get on with things and work at managing your symptoms!
