Fantastic, non biased information. Great work!
Unfortunately hearts rule heads and common sense in these matters hence, irrational, hypocritical anti hunting types would prefer human blood over major local community benefits from paying to hunt animals!

???I don't hunt but thats because i don't know how to! Unfortunately we live in a world where human life has become so devalued that it has less importance than an animals! I have heard the over population crowd would like to see numbers of humans reduced and talk of humans as being a cancer on society! Actually the population will stabilise and then go into decline! To make comments about wanting to hunt humans rather than animals is lunatic psycho talk that is calling for human genocide.

Well said fox, I couldn't agree more. I would have said the same thing but I'm just to lazy to spend the time on writing a essay, plus I'd have to proof read it 2 or 3 times cos I'm a retard. Ha ha ha!

Ha ha ha! LOL , to be fair TM , its an old argument i researched a while ago when the Robert Borsak elephant hunt was the hot topic and everyone wanted to lynch mob the bloke for participating in a bloody conservation program , I have to be honest here , if i had not of looked past all the hype i would have thought that he had poached or shot it illegally as well , i grew up on stories of hunters and explorers with ship loads of ivory and it was all very romantic when the herds were massive back in the 17/ 1800s ,but after the decimation of the African wildlife i would not have personally hunted an elephant or a lion even if it was legal as the idea of taking an endangered animal as a trophy is not right , but once you scratch beneath all the bullshit the anti's throw around its a whole different story , yeah in some parts of africa elephants and lions are endangered because of poaching , if you look further you will see the countries that have outlawed hunting of these animals have massive poaching problems , no community support and no animals in very short order , while the countries with the campfire program up and running have more elephants and lions then the landscape can sustain , making periodically culls very necessary, and profitable, sometimes like in the case of the borsak elephant you get problem animals that need to be put down regardless of herd size , the elephant in question had developed a thing for crops and was causing massive damage and refused to be moved ( which elephants find surprisingly easy to do i would think lol ) , these antis will not see sense , they would prefer to move the village and let the people starve then shoot the elephant even if the survival of the rest of the heard could be secured with the auction of the death of a single problematic animal , the game farms in texas are under constant attack by so called animal rights activists , their line is that they should not be hunted full stop , even if it meant the total extinction of the species , if the only reason they are there is to be hunted then they should not be there , how can you argue against such stupidity ?

I LOVE controversy, argument and discussion. I'd not put things on FB, but that's more of a security issue than a concern of what people think and what they say. A little while ago a mate of mine put up a picture of 6 dead rabbits he cleared from a friends farm. After getting some stick I suggested to him this. I'm a hunter and I'm proud of it stop being Sanctimonious
sanctimonious ˌsaŋ(k)tɪˈməʊnɪəs/ adjective derogatory adjective: sanctimonious
1. making a show of being morally superior to other people.------------------------------- He didn't receive another negative comment, he owned it. I tell people in my work helping them be themselves that nobody can harm you if you own whatever you are. It's only the fear you show that leads cowards to attack. I did give him some back up ideas; It's ok, it's my culture, much like yours is trolling people enjoying their lives in the way they see fit. Huh? I like eating meat, I'm collecting it myself like a fisherman? I harm vegetables in my garden too and eat them to survive. When you cut a plant it releases hormones and works similarly to a nervous system, it feels pain. They're vermin, much like mice in your pantry can be. You're only alive to whine about hunting because many people in your bloodline hunted. You're genes were passed down on the blood and corpses of those dead animals, if shame you must, shame you must feel for own life. They were eating your vegetables, if I hadn't shot them you would have starved. I say if you're ok with posting up pics of yourself with firearms, post up pictures of you with what you've hunted and see who your friends aren't. People casting moralistic slights on your culture ought to be shown the door, it's easy not to see posts from people. Oh and REPORT the page. If enough of us do it then it will get shut down, I just messaged about 20 of the people they named suggesting they report the page

Wild pigs do over $106 million dollars damage a year www.feralscan.org.au/feralpigscan/pagecontent.aspx?page=feralpig_feralpigdamageanoverviewRabbits $206 million dollars damage a year www.feral.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/RABFS3_impacts.pdfFoxes over $100 million dollars damage per year www.animalcontrol.com.au/foxes.htmCamels over $10 million dollars damage per year www.feralcamels.com.au/impacts-and-environments-risk#CostingFCdamageAlso don't forget cats, buffalo, cane toads, donkeys, wild horses, goats, deer, the list goes on. So, as a proud Aussie red blooded male, if I kill one of these introduced species, for the most part I am filling my freezer full of meat, and, I am also saving the native flora and fauna of this fragile eco system. Me, I hunt, and have done so from a young age. Dad had a poor paying job ( he was a minister ), so every 6 months we loaded the freezer onto the trailer, went to the Flinders ranges in SA, and filled the freezer full of rabbit, roo and goat meat. If we were lucky, the station owner threw in a hogget if we knocked off a lot of foxes. For us, hunting was not a sport, but a means of feeding the family. There is a difference between hunting and shooting too. In our area there is a problem with feral deer, so, to help keep the population under control, shooters take out the big bucks with the big racks. Not only do they end up with a nice rack to hang on the wall, but, over 100kg of meat. So, off to the fridge now, got a pork leg roast that needs a good whalloping!!

wow, clearly this is a pretty heated topic! just my 2 cents, i actually had quite an argument with a effing townie recently, she was *soooooo* against hunting of all kinds. so i said, well, do you prefer baiting then? as that is actually far less humane and is quite a horrid way to go!, she said, oh, no, i dislike that too, so i retorted with, so what, let introduced pests destroy our farms and bushland? is that preferable to you? by this stage she well n truly had both feet in her mouth, she had talked her way into a corner where she had to admit that hunting was a better alternative than the other two options, but her big mouth and even bigger ego didnt want to admit she was wrong! lol
also, with those hunts in south africa, the income from them goes to controlled breeding. they breed from a lioness, take the cubs so she can breed again, and give the cubs to raisers who use them for photo opportunities. the whole system is corrupt beyond a joke. there is no actual interest in conservation, beyond breeding animals to be shot, that have no natural fear of humans, as they were RAISED by them, have no chance to escape or fight back, to me its about as pathetic as having a cage fight with a person in a wheelchair. anything anyone who participates in these pathetic pseudo hunts is trying to prove is proved in reverse. it proves they are not real hunters, have no real skill, no real guts. if they were on fire n i had a bottle of water, id rather sit n drink n watch them burn, or tip it out while they watch, out of sheer contempt for their pathetic excuse for hunting.... sorry, rant over... lol

The other way I look at what you stated is just like a puppy factory, which is disgusting. It hurts to see such great animals getting shot but if these things didn't happen then there wouldn't be any left. As for Australia, well we are so censored from the truth about the local subject of feral and native thanks to the media. I could tell you a story about the whole bullet vs poison but I can't, I want to but can't. Get my drift. By the way I was all for the bullet. Poison is a far more cruel way of dealing with ferals, plus it doesn't discriminate from feral/ native. i once showed what 1080 does to a feral dog to a person the same as mentioned above and completely back flipped. just a point of view.

Just a word of warning about 1080 poison about the effects and how cruel this shit is. Use this to prove to the naive tree hugging, nature loving twits that think there's a more humane way than a bullet. Mind u I have been known to thump someone if they are cruel with a rifle ( cos they can't shoot for shit ) and not follow up and finish the job or shoot something they are not meant too.
what makes me shake my head about all this is the animal lovers are the ones making the most damage. Common sense doesn't prevail any more.

Lol, dont worry mate, youre not saying anything im not ^_^ and im glad you whacked them, somebody needs to remind them that they cant get away with being careless or cruel imho that 1080 should be banned. Too many native animals die, too many dogs are baited with it, and as you showed (and i dont have the heart to watch, i know its a shockingly bad way to go)... if people really cared about the welfare of the animal being culled, theyd promote shooting. Its not their fault they were introduced to an ecosystem not used to them, theyre just trying to survive like we would in the same situation.

You may think that she is unethical blah blah etc etc but at the end of the day she has an amazing amount of experience and is in fact now involved in training people how to hunt Deer and dangerous game etc. Do you really think that you could sit down and watch another Human being burn to death or is this more just a figure of speech and you trying to show your anger towards the matter?

pffft, if she was such a good hunter she would hunt something without it being raised with ppl and stuck in a cage. you take more risks when going pigging than she did. also shows more hunting skill to hunt something that actually knows to gtfo at first sight/smell/sound of you. its like walking up to a labrador and shooting it. same level of skill imo. and yes, indeed i would for a pathetic piece of crap like her. she can walk up n shoot something with no fear or instinct to escape, let alone a means to, i can walk away while she burns to a crisp. at least i know a monster died, where she is killing things that have been deprived of every chance to live.

You're entitled to your opinion that's no problem for me at all. Hunting Farmed Game animals is merely the tip of the iceberg as far as her experience goes....but whatever.
Gotta say that I reckon you're full of shit in saying that you would let someone burn to death for killing an animal though. One of those things that's easier said than done for sure. Definitely a bit on the strange side too, but different strokes, different folks. LoL

If she was a *real* hunter, she wouldnt need essentially handicapped animals to hunt. Would you go shoot a domestic pig and call yourself a hunter? Doubt it, youd be a laughing stock. This is NO different. Why not hunt like african warriors do? THAT is having a pair. Shooting a sometimes drugged animal with impaired instincts in a cage is about as awesome as punching a puppy in the face for all the same reasons.

And ftr id let her burn because she is a cowardly oathetic piece of sheet who doesnt deserve saving. Only brave with a big gun in her hands and a severely handicapped animal. What a effing loser. Bring her out bush pigging and she would be sobbing to go home.
