Hey guys and girls, I'm looking for ideas to expand my businesses product line. I'm wanting to ask you what sort of products would be worthwhile stocking? Preferably security related items to go along the lines of my core business, but open to wide suggestions for anything.
Also working on offering special ausprep discount codes and special buys for you guys.

Not sure on your technical skill or how mich you wabt to branch out but offering yagi antennas and installations for people wanting mobile service may be something to look at. A lot of phone guys cant be assed doing it and (over here at least) a lot of farmers would appreciate better reception or access to 3g internet

Mainly not security related either, but more prepper/survival/camping/farmer style stuff as well to spread my range out. Not really interested in doing home alarm systems as I need a bunch more licenses to install that stuff
Will look into the Yagi antennas as supply only, as I'll need an ACMA license to install them as they are an end point to a telecommunication service.

I've reached out to a few suppliers O/S about Yagi antennas, and also MRE's and first aid kit packs If anybody's interested?
Might even be able to have a forum giveaway type thing to maybe get some new members in the forum and such, say I'll donate a months worth of MRE's for 1 person or something as a forum giveaway in the very early new year?

Those are already my primary products there whisperer. Www.ruralmonitoringservice.com.auOnce I can get a few more things sorted out, I'll be offering ausprep discounts on my shop. If I can get the MRE sorted out, who is interested in putting their hand up for a sample to try and review for me? I'll send a couple out to get some honest reviews so I can put those on my site as well. It will be at least Feb before I make any decent order on the MRE's when I get my bonus from work, but I'll be looking g at ordering samples in the mean time. These are supposed to have a shelf life of 7yrs and are the same ones used by the UN in Africa and such, all made under ISO9001 and other standards.

We'd be very interested in giving you feedback on your MREs when they are made available (don't mind paying you for the review either).

What about an Apocalypse electronic book! A section for information/reference books and a logbook/diary section to record your adventures! A solar panel on the top cover to keep it always charged And a USB outlet to copy to separate storage sticks!
Is that over the top?

You could achieve that with an Ereader and Goal Zero solar panel. If wanted I could write up an abridged copy of a basic survival handbook for Aust, but they will require some decent $ to go towards publishing or printing.

I'm also looking at sourcing first aid packs, more then likely they will be empty packs similar to paramedic bags that have decent amount of pockets and such in them, this will work out much cheaper then me stocking them up with gear. As one of the kits I'm looking at, a full resuscitation kit (2kg oxygen tank, all the masks, airway tubes etc) would probably have to sell around a grand or just over depending on the $ at the time. Whereas empty kit bags I can get you for around $100 for a decent size bags. Here is 2 of the bags.. I'm also looking at the idea of putting several smaller zip bags within each f these so you have individual grab bags segmented into your different categories. These I can start ordering some "sample" quantities right away if anybody is interested and wants some more info on them.

With the MRE packs, would you be more interested in 12hr or 24hr packs? Menus avail: 12hr: 24Hr: I've omitted the 2 meals with sardines as the main meal, as really who wants to eat sardines now, let alone in a SHFT lol

I've omitted the 2 meals with sardines as the main meal, as really who wants to eat sardines now, let alone in a SHFT lol Hey - don't knock sardines. A tin of sardines with a sachet of ketchup, some salt & pepper and a dash of tabasco (with a dash of Worcestershire sauce, if available) - served on toast/crackers/hardtack is a veritable feast. Heck, I'd be happy to try any of the MRE's you mentioned. And those with the canned fish, too. Sign me up.

So are we more interested in the 12 or 24hr packs? And would you be willing to buy individual or say a weeks worth at a time? Just allows me to set an appropriate price, as if I do a weeks pack or 24hr MRE's it will allow me to offer a lower price per item compared to buying singularly. For my sample order I plan to get a mixed order of the different menus that can be sampled and tested to see if it's worth doing a larger order which can be bulk bought by you guys first before I offer to the market.

I'm more interested in the 24 hour pack. I'll be happy to buy a week's worth as a trial. Assuming price, taste and longevity are okay, I'll be happy to buy some decent stocks from there.

As far as shelf life goes it is supposed to be around 7yrs. I'm just awaiting further info to come through and with some photos as well. Price is yet to be determined but will depend on what the $ is doing, as well as the greedy unfair bank transfer rate to get a final price per unit and per weeks worth.
