Ziggy - I've got potato seeds.. hard to find in good times let alone 'now', put them in a few weeks earlier and the yield will be the same, easy to store, they last years. How many do you want/can? Remmy - Deal. 2blueshoes - what are you looking for, also interested in eggs?
Phone/laptop/radio/battery charging service. I have a small amount of power available, who needs a top up? ----------------- This is fun. Already seeing how useful it is. It also reminds me of the TV series 'life below zero', which depicts people living in the Artic Circle in which an Inuit community trade large amounts of food with one another mostly done via CB radio. I can see the advantage of a community just through this example, I can also see how some kind of communication and trust is required. You very much put yourself at Opsec risk. Minimizing that with small trades was Selco's [Bosnia Siege] suggestion. Big trades attract attention. Questions pop up such as what is a renewable resources that I can trade? Eggs... certainly [assuming I can feed the chooks] Seed, sure, though slow going.

... Phone/laptop/radio/battery charging service. I have a small amount of power available, who needs a top up? ... That's something I could offer, power for charging, in return, maybe some labour or even news if the person is traveling. Yes that's it, you get to charge whatever you like for as long as you keep me entertained with news from around the areas you've been.

They're 60g eggs, but they have a much shorter shelf life than tuna - for a dozen eggs how about a 400g tin of tuna or some smaller tins to vary our protein intake, or a cup of metho or little bit of hex fuel to use for cooking?

@remmy fuel sounds good
I was wondering if Shiney has any tuna or any other fish, otherwise a couple of seed potatoes would be of definite interest

Just to restate, they're 'potato seeds', or True Potato Seed [TPS], not tubers. [confusing I know] Stores very well [they store like tomato, aka 4+ years], can grow them from tubers [easier] next time or take them to seed and grow that way. Yields will be about the same as Tubers
I'll take either or both of.. [as they become available I suppose since Remmy got in first] 12 Eggs = 250mls metho[cup]. {That is about 3 meals of metho, if you're careful that's 3 days worth [cook up 500g of pasta/rice at a time].} 12 Eggs [3500kj] traded for 7 TPS. {That's about 2 sqm, yield is about 11,000kj. Potatos have one of the highest yields/sqm in terms of KJ. You can see that growing food takes a lot of veggies!}
Tuna - possibly.

I have a box of canning lids (Ball jars) or a bottle of wine but for these I would like some fresh food (Like salad veg or some loaves of bread made up) enough for a week. So maybe 2 loaves of bread and some veg!!

Graynomad I need some power for my ipad, the little one is bored and wants to play a game! lol Not sure I would be able to offer you labour but news from Prepperville is good as I live in town and listen to what others are talking about while lining up for rations etc
(I thought I would add in a fictional regional town called Prepperville with a population of 10,000 in the Shire of Ausprep)
