Remmy - "I have a box of canning lids (Ball jars)" - Would you take 2 'just add water' pancake mixes? A little flatter than bread, but tastier! Pete - If you can do more loaves, I've got some rum, coke and assuming it's sunny all day today and the solar manages it with the small fridge, some icecubes.
Offering - Butternut pumpkin seeds - grow, eat well later, yields 2-3000kj/seed. {pulled them from a batch of pumpkin soup I canned yesterday} - water treatment - don't die of colarah, get our water treatment chemical, packed in glass vials. It's enough to treat 2000L of water! - Charging service - Bring back hours of entertainment from that black plastic thing in the corner. - Canning service - We can can your produce so you can eat during winter. Also includes pickling service. - Sewing service - look like you've got a million potatoes - Sewing teaching service - want to feel special in the new austere world, learn how to sew special. - Security service - if you're food rich, discourage looters with our security services - Teaching service {Mother in law} - keep the kids from rioting, send them to school, you never know, if they live through this, it might be good they're smart. - mental health/motivation issue service - is starvation driving you mad? - Ice cubes - be the coolest person in town - Salt - Don't get Hyponatremia - symptoms include nausea and vomiting, headache, short-term memory loss, confusion, lethargy, fatigue, loss of appetite, irritability, muscle weakness, spasms or cramps, seizures, and decreased consciousness or coma... and death. Take some salt, only a few grams a day are needed and if you're not eating much... you might be low. Besides it makes weeds taste better. - Natural antibiotic - take two a day for a few weeks and give yourself a better chance to not die from that small cut you got. [raw garlic btw has been shown to have some antibiotic and antiviral properties. Obviously modern medicine's better]
Seeking - Glass jars with lids {I just did some canning but forgot to try out using just normal pasta jars, apparently it works} - Fuel/LPG/Metho - Oil/fats - Fresh meat - Fresh veggies/herbs - Fresh Garlic - Vinegar - Fertilizer - any kind

Rem it's a large milk carton type thing with a multigrain bread mix. I find it makes one decent sized loaf, but it's very dense and filling. It's the sort of bread I'd want for a weekend of hiking.

Graynomad I need some power for my ipad, the little one is bored and wants to play a game! lol Not sure I would be able to offer you labour but news from Prepperville is good as I live in town and listen to what others are talking about while lining up for rations etc (I thought I would add in a fictional regional town called Prepperville with a population of 10,000 in the Shire of Ausprep) Once my batteries are full you can have free charging, but I may have to keep your little one as surety against you mentioning my relatively comfortable situation to the others lining up for rations back in town. For that matter, how the heck did you find me? [menacing voice] Now there's a story I want to hear [/menacing voice]

I think so Shoes! But he was offering to charge things. Gray my little one is not with me lol! I am not here to make trouble just overheard someone talking about the crazy bearded man living out bush, living the high life. They were not very careful and mentioned to the person they were chatting to that you had traded with them to power their stuff. He was very willing to share your location with his companion. Maybe you need to be more careful who you give information to! And you have my word I wont mention you to anyone but I suspect that it is already too late!!!

Ah yes, I think I remember him, he was a little off and had a big mouth. As he left I was going to signal my overwatch to take him out, but had a moment of weakness. Won't happen again, although it seems that the damage is done. You may as well come and charge then, that intel is worth it. Note to self: Increase patrols and have them go further out.

Thanks Gray I appreciate that! Oh and another thing I wasnt the only one to overhear them, there were a couple of thuggish looking fellas around, armed and were very interested in what was said. I think its a good idea to Increase your patrols and you may need to call in reinforcements!!
