Anyone know if Ebay Geiger counters are any good? Looks like you can get samples to test out your geiger counter?

I picked up one that is still currently on ebay for $96.88 includes free post called 'Beta Gamma X-ray Geiger Counter Nuclear Radiation Marble GM tube Detector Tester"
UPC 985273919276
It has a big screen and it impressed me for the price.... I use the mantel of an old gas lamp as a radioactive source to prove operation, but I can only check one against the other as a calibration test.
There are some on ebay that only take special batteries which I had personal experience with, avoid them if you can as the hassle of making up a power supply is not worth it. And watch out you don't buy a electromagnetic radiation test, which only work on electric fields, unless that is what you want to test for.
Happy prepping
