This thread is a bit like the "Sudden SHTF/Last thing you are doing!" (http://ausprep.com/thread/4467/sudden-shtf-last-thing-doing) thread, but asking if a burglar were to come through your door / window right now (as you read this post), what weapon would you have within arm's length for immediate use (so not the shotty in the gun safe, unless you happen to have it open and be standing next to it as you read this).
There's half a dozen knives, bottles of wine and a mop a few paces away, but in keeping with the question -- I'm at my dining room table, so literally the only thing within arm's length would be my mug of ice coffee (so no scalding liquids to throw), the laptop or the power cable.
What does everyone else have on hand?
(Question comes after recently watching a youtube vid of a loony prepper who has guns and knives secreted literally all over the house so that he always has one within arm's length).

I got a couple of Cold Steel Roughneck knives in my desk drawer, and a bottle of isocol on the dresser next to me that would cause some slight burning to said intruders eyes

Currently, Esee 6 on my belt while I'm watching TV at the moment. That's the norm.
If I'm not wearing a belt then a benchmade 551 in my pocket.
Main rooms I'm in all have a 5+ inch blade in them. Additionally, bedroom has a large maglite and a baseball bat, and the gun room also has a hatchet on the door handle.

Now I'm at home, and I find myself with two machetes within reaching distance, a couple of knives, and a can of bug spray. Everything a growing lad needs for a quiet night at home.

High lumen LED torches in easy reach in every room.
.22lr at back door, Ruger GSR .308 and 5.56mm, both loaded. For foxes, of course!

A deep fryer full of hot oil as I'm cooking chicken parmies and chips for dinner 😂 the hot oil should stop them in their tracks!
