Our government is now signing a Rotational Treaty with the US thereby allowing US forces to stay here on a "rotationary" basis.
This is also so that we can have a "Credible Defense Posturing" as stated by our government.

Didn't factor in the War Aspect as part of my prepping although I would hightail it out of the main Metro where I live when it does happen.
Would head down South to the farm (about 80km away). It would definitely have to be a move to the South since the Northern part of the island would be closer to the point of conflict.

Prepping for war here is going to be tricky since we would be easily overrun unless a "Greater Power" steps in and intervenes on our behalf

That would be hard to do since the airports are either up north or within the metropolis. I could take the ferry to down south to Davao City in Mindanao where a cousin lives.

For this, I have my BOV.
Am almost done with my car. Purely mechanical (except for the Distributor) in the event of an EMP attack too. This will serve as my BO Vehicle to get to the farm or farther. Will load up the car with stocks I have in the house. Things will be placed in boxes in the next months for easy deployment into the car.
I am definitely leaving the city in this scenario.

Myrrph, in the last Security Summit held there in Singapore, US, Japan, and China exchanged harsh words (well, it was a US-Japan Vs. China thing).
Was talking with a Singaporean friend of mine last night through Viber and, as much as he wanted to come here, he was afraid that he would get stuck here in the event that war breaks out although he wouldn't mind staying at my place and my having to provide for him.

Yes, there were some harsh words. Uncharacteristic of the Chinese PLA but *shrug* they think much about their new air craft carrier...
the whole thing about Japan-Australia submarine thing is prolly scaring them silly..
