Osko goes down from 7pm to 3am and the latte sippers lose their $h!t.
Bwahaha.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how these smashed avo munching consumer units react to the entire system collapsing permanently. Hope I have enough popcorn.

I'm tempted to get a bit more cash out. I don't like holding large amounts of cash but it's beginning to smell a lot like a combination of the financial system going to custard and starting to smell like coordinated cyber.

I don't like holding large amounts of cash but it's beginning to smell a lot like a combination of the financial system going to custard and starting to smell like coordinated cyber. Yeah, I am nervous. If one looks at the US yield curve gone way negative, check the charts. They grey zones are recession.... www.gurufocus.com/yield_curve.phpThis has always preceded recession/depression. 1y at 4.5% and 30 years at 3.9%. Borrow money for 30 years pay back at 3.9% borrow for 1y pay back at 4.5%..... When Bank of England's Bailey tells pension funds they have 3 days to rebalance and should sell everything, it is unprecedented. Never heard of a banker telling people to sell and get out.... There were warning signs in 2008 that are all back with a vengeance. Now central banker are raising rates and tightening money supply while economy is stagnating, and US job losses are up. They have run out of road to kick the can...

Cash will be king for a while. Then it will be food, fuel, ammo and so on, tangible items that people will need.
Ive said it on another post, crpto will be OK for a while as well, especially a crypto that can be exchanged for 'stuff', like 1776 tokens are. We have some crpto, but once again thinking long term, land and tools for working the land, solar power (or grid independence), and a stable, clean, water supply will be necessary when your shipping container full of food runs out.
A way to defend your property also will be necessary, and possibly roving armed patrols after dark.
Night vision, or at least FLIR gear will make you king of the dark.
Cache your supply's, especially ammo and weapons. Don't keep the all in the one spot.
WW3 is coming by the looks of it between Russia and Ukraine.
Interesting times ahead.
“There would be little chance of recovery to pre-nuclear-war conditions in an impoverished and devastated world.”

Good idea to pull cash out. In most countries they have changed from bail-out model to bail-in. That means instead of the government handing over cash to stop them going under, they can just legally swipe any depositor funds. Hence the name "bail-in" (insider bailout).
As for WW3, would have thought it was hyperbole a while ago, but the reset is stalled and they will flip the table before walking away. If this economic demolition doesn't give them a clear path to total control, they will press the big red button and call it "pre-emptive".
(They say every cloud has a silver lining, and I guess the one for this scenario is that for a brief nanosecond everyone's solar will generate a million watts)

I'd love to see these predictions recorded, then reviewed and re-published at the time their claimed event was supposed to happen.

Ausprep members should start their own prediction channel or whatever. Go back and read Spatials thread on the beginning of the russian war on Ukraine. Some pretty good predictions and/or observations were made in the first few pages.

I remember writing down predictions about covid, I said the queen would die from it... guess they will never tell us either way.
I wonder what happens when everyone defaults and they take our money. I can see how it could happen over a longer time period. but full and sudden bank collapse is another mental exercise.
I dont see crypto as any value in shtf situation. firstly you have to trade it via a platform and the other person needs to have an account. to me its like storing precious metals for trade. its not practical

Been keeping N95 for many years, with that same thought in mind. Use them when spraying weeds anyway. Pandemics are inevitable. It's the timing that's hard to pick.

For the last several years now we have kept minimum balances in bank accounts.. Just enough to cover expenses that are not easy to use cash..
Regardless of how well and secure supposedly insured individuals deposits are said to be.. Once deposits are unavailable, who knows when or if insured deposits will be paid out..

Saw an article where German peoples are burning their masks to stay warm. Appropriate use of them. Watching for the greenies reactions to all the pollution from the mask burnings, a very green solution guys.
Energy, in turn, can be used to create fuels and fertilizer, two inputs necessary for affordable food. In addition, the universe provides the sun which brings us heat, energy and photosynthesis, all for free.

Here is the article re the masks, and a couple of others as well to ponder. At least we are heading into summer, this could be us next winter, well, not us, as we use wood, but Australia. www.pollution.news/2022-10-12-germany-thermally-recycle-covid-masks-fuel-energy.htmlwww.naturalnews.com/2022-10-14-horse-poop-possible-alternative-to-russian-oil.htmlwww.naturalnews.com/2022-10-16-polish-households-burn-trash-energy-western-sanctions.htmlWhen geoengineering isn’t creating artificial droughts, rain falls out of the sky for free, and the rivers, streams and oceans are teeming with life and abundance (except for when we pollute them with pesticides, biosludge and plastics, of course).

It is us/Australia this summer as power usage is higher in summer than winter due to air-conditioning etc..
