Just thought I'd check in and ask how everyone is enjoying WWIII?
Back in the good old days, like everyone else I thought WWIII would be a kinetic war between nation states. Evidently I was wrong. WWIII is a war launched by corporate & banking elites against society at large. It should be noted that society at large is actually powerful but using the good old principle of divide and conquer that power is eliminated.
How did that happen? - instead of kinetic weapons (bombs & bullets) they used information as the weapon (mis information, dis information, psyops, propaganda). The damage delivered by these weapons is fear, hate, ignorance (denial of knowledge/history/truth) and division. Bingo societies power is taken away by getting segments of society to turn on one another rather than noticing the true enemy.
In this war information is actually the ammunition. Governments and the control they exercise through regulation and enforcement is the weapon system to deliver the combat effect.
Most people are unaware that they are the target in this war. As targets they may unkowingly remain as ignorant scared victims or in some cases they may take the red pill so to speak and disconnect from the actual matrix we live in. Eventually they may notice who the enemy is and begin to coalesce into some kind of resistance. I dont believe that has happened yet.
The main battles of WWIII took place in the msm and social media domains. Society lost those battles and is divided, ignorant, hateful and scared to stand up.
There are some skirmishes ahead regarding financial control with CBDCs but they are a done deal in this ignorant society. The final battles which will secure the global war on society in favour of corporate & NGO elites is AI. Once closed source AI is fully unleashed (and probably will follow close on the heels of CBDCs et al) I suspect that societies ability to unite and throw off the shackles.
In the present state of society there is probably some section of society you hate. Consider that a wound from this information war... and yes that is confirmation that you are a combatant in this war. Now consider how are you going to heal from that wound ... or is it fatal? If you can't recognise that the hate is the aim of the attackers and you cant let go of it then you wont heal and the wound is fatal for unity and fatal for society. Heal from it. Add that awareness to your combat lessons. Teach those around you how to recover from their wounds (aka to let go of the hate they carry).
If ground zero of the war is the connected world, then the underground must be in-person connections, human to human, face to face community building and 'un-hating'. All that 'hate' energy has a viable direction at the instigators of the war.
It is definitely a war as you describe. I still think the kinetic weapons will have their day. I think the coprorates and elites are struggling to maintain control and anything could happen.
My trust in all media has simply gone. MSM and the alt.media both are just as bad as each other. They simply lie. I have a couple of areas of expertise and everything written on these is simply wrong - sometimes a little and sometimes a huge amount. I have signed the offical information act on several issues and then watched the politicians and bureaucrats just simply lie about the issues.
I watch media presenting a biased and factually incorrect position daily. Left is as bad as right.
So in the absence of trust we are screwed. I agree in-person connection is the only way.
As we see in Ukraine, kinetic war is just another money making activity for the bankers. It has been that way since the rise of the Rothschilds funding the earlier world wars and it still is. Hence a kinetic phase may well arise when the chess pieces which are nation states are moved by the chess players.
Unplugging from the matrix and rebuilding healthy united communities is key but very hard to do in our tech culture where many remain plugged in and ignorant.
The unravelling challenge is massive. The current generation(s) have been raised with little understanding of war at a personal level. However the current path will inevitably lead to one and all becomming acquainted with the life of the vanquished, oppressed and enslaved. Perhaps then the tide will turn. The trouble is that historical precedents just last century suggest that conditions have to become much worse before the masses unite to change the status quo.

We've definitely got a front row seat. All we can do at this stage is make sure we all have our own personal preps in order and keep trying to get friends and family to see the light. It's not easy but people are slowly starting to realise that we don't have to be pointing stabby things at people to be at risk of disadvantage.
Welcome back Milspec. How is your network building going? I’ve got three meets at my retreat coming up over the next 6 or so weeks: Easter with extended family, late April with friends (a whole bunch of drunken menopausal women - God help me) and then the annual prepper meet in May.
Lots of face to face networking and bond building. Because offline is where the real stuff happens.
This whole WW3 by proxy is fugging boring, the pro Ukranian propaganda / misinformation is so predictable and tiring now even MSM and internet are starting to give up on it! Our systems are being destroyed from within. Bureaucrats with an axe to grind are writing government policies and putting a lot of personal bias into them. We've got this referendum vote coming up soon to allow "The Voice" to be added, which from what I've read so far is a total shame to have every single government decision decided over by a select committee of non-elected aboriginal "representatives" who must review every government policy/decision/order etc and rubber stamp it "at a time convenient for them to review it" before it can be passed. And this covers things such as mobilising the ADF for disaster relief after a flood/fire/cyclone etc. Then you have the education system continually getting dumbed down and approved by the UN rather than just focusing on the reading/writing/arithmetic and teaching worthwhile classes in senior high school like basic mechanics/applying for a job/taxes/budgeting and other basic life skills needed for post-school life. The media alone because that's a whole new basket case lol You have "news shows" like today show etc that preach like "news" but everything is agenda-driven and they don't have to abide by the "Journalism code of ethics" because they are registered with ACMA as "entertainment shows" and thus don't have to abide by said journalism rules. It seems these days, the 1% has somehow got its way to call all the shots in all areas of life, and these days you are labelled with a hate crime charge if you "misgender" someone, just like you can see with the latest school shooter in the US

Does anyone genuinely believes that they can go to an election and vote for a government that will implement sound and sensible policy, govern well in time of crisis and unwind overbearing legislation which impinges on peoples rights and freedoms and give up the powers it has granted itself?
Every year new legislation gives authorities greater control and restricts freedoms further. Free speech is eroded and voicing your opinion or standing up for your reasonable beliefs gets you branded a criminal or terrorist.
There was a time when I believed that democracy is a good thing. Seems reasonable right? In reality democracy gets exploited by governing bodies to erode the power of institutions that can resist or instigate corrective action against bad government. How? By influencing the masses to support the government view until the government is powerful and no longer efficient and there are no longer institutions which can pressure government to govern effectively. So these days I wonder if an old fashioned benevolent dictatorships might not be better for the world. Democratic nation states seem to be doing more harm than good to the people of said nations. One thing is for sure ... they can be a lot more efficient in their early days. Of course there is always the possibility that you end up in a non benevolent dictatorship but at this stage that seems pretty much the same thing as a bloated, self absorbed, corrupt & inefficient democracy near the end of its life.

One should assume everything they write online is being or has been recorded & read. Even if it hadnt already happened, future AI's will read it and correlate pretty much everything you wrote everywhere unless you took exceptional measures to mask your identity at the time of posting. Just imagine the day when criminal prosecutors are AIs and you have to rely on feeble human knowledge to defend yourself. ... come to think of it thats probably why that US hedgefund manager went all-in on buying up private prisons last year.

Even though I have been desensitised by Hollywood I still found the clip 'confronting' and 'disturbing' - probably because it was labelled as "real footage".
And when I say labelled as "real footage" I don't mean to infer it is not real, rather that the term "real" in front of any footage gives it a more personal feel to it.
I did note there was a distinct lack of blood and splatter from such close range compared to Hollywood movies but I suppose that is indeed plausible.
