Hot and dry. We are looking at a filter to be able to use the dam water in the sink and shower etc, as well as the toilet as at present. Saving the rain water for drinking.
Hence the reason for putting so much effort into a EMP proof pump unit, just in case these evil men start WW3 and the fire brigades cant get to us because their vehicles were not proofed.
Love the Scouts motto, "Be Prepared"......
Also, love trying to outwit these polyfilths and their nefarious schemes.
Just remember, the secret is to bang the rocks together guys.

We use raw Murray River water in our house. We have a settling tank to put the dirty water in, then I treat it with Alum to clarify it and then chlorinate it after that. It comes out the taps clear and smelling clean. Mechanical filtration is a grim practical joke designed to cost you more and make more work. |

At present, we pump the dam water to a 45 kl header tank, where it settles, but the tannin's discolor the water and stain things, hence the need for a filter. Alm tends to make a mess in the bottom of the tank.
The pony's and cows don't seem to care though, all they want is to wade out to eat the water lilies !
When in doubt, empty the magazine….

We thought that about Yellow Rock creek, Albion Park, when I first moved there 40 years ago, until a coal company, Austin and Butta decided to mine above us. Exit stage left clean water, to be replaced with oily, black sludge, not even suitable to run a hydro electric turbine on as it had so much crud in it it would block the nozzle up every few days.
Enjoy it whilst you can......
If you make it too tough for the enemy to get in you can't get out.

The mess in the tank is the by-product of all the suspended crap settling out. Chlorine oxidises all the organics, colour, odours and germs. I've had water "filtered" from a comparatively harmless rainwater tank that was still loaded with germs, coloured and smelling creeky. Oh ... and the filters cost $45 each and needed replacement quite often. |

Have they actually Id'd the bodies ? Seems like there was another plane that left at the same time and landed safely back in Moscow.
Now to just disappear with the money for ever. Russia is a big country.

Finally understand that being early is not being wrong. It's insurance. You will be proven right one day. When it happens, know that things will be bad LONGER that you prepared for. Always, Govts want you to vote yes for whatever they are pushing. They never do it for 'us', only to further their power. Vote a solid NO. not a cross, but NO. A tick will be counted as a yes, but a cross is not a no vote. Remember Govts always look after themselves first. This bill will open a floodgate of land rights issue, you may end up being kicked off your land if a Land Rights claim is successful and there are no clauses as yet, to remove certain types of land from the effects of the bill, so theoretically, Canberra can be demolished. Think people.
"Trust us, vote yes and we will work out the details later".
