Another option is the Jaycar one here www.jaycar.com.au/600a-true-rms-ac-dc-clamp-meter/p/QM1632It is very similar to the one you mentioned however goes up to 600 amp, which most people won't need but is handy to have as 200+ amps of 12v DC is common enough in solar and Ag circles to warrant the extra $20. Outside of a large scale event the warranty being covered by any Jaycar store or reseller nationwide is a big bonus. (For full disclosure my little shop is a Jaycar reseller)

I tried reading and taking it seriously but when it got to this point
#1: Lack Of Clean Water
Our bodies are made up predominately of this substance and without it we can only survive for up to 3 days, ***bearly*** any more,
All i could do is look for spelling mistakes XD
All of that is SOP and to be fair I know a shit tonne of people that, while not full on prepper, are much more aware of their food/water/medication limitations at home than 12-18 months ago

I do not have any sources on hand but I remember going into this quite extensively a couple years back. The best answer I could find, aside from "they are always watching", was that the predictive algorithms that Big Tech use are now so sophisticated that they can readily find out what we want or need before we do. Tech companies figuring out when women are pregnant before they do is a very common one, along with cheating spouses and even tax fraud.
They use all imformation available to target advertising and media based on even the most minute details, including purchase information, where you live, weather, socio economic data of your peers and neighbours.
They can take everything you put out there, everything people put out there about you and apparently can determine what we will look at before we look at it.
Now personally I find this far more believable and even more terrifying than the standard "the are watching us", as it is only a small hop skip and a jump from using a predictive algorithm for advertising to using it for predicting behaviour and acting on it.

I actually know Jim pretty well, he is a good lad. He is constantly mobile and has very particular things he tells the media when he talk to them.
To be honest I don’t even think he has been back to Perth for more than a couple days for a few years.
His truck was for sale a couple years back when he was looking at settling down but I think he has taken to the more nomadic life with gusto.

Yeah that’s where I keep going back to, as a proof of concept though it is fascinating.

Hey guys. Long time no see! I came across this the other day and it got me thinking. I get that it is very expensive however I was considering the possible uses in a semi hydroponic sense. Utilising grow media instead of soil and having nutrient infused water instead of just water for the water in. Have a a look and tell me what you think, I am of two minds and would love to hear the traditionalist view as well as from the blokes that are all about the new tech 😁 farm.bot/Cheers Reth

I haven’t watched the show yet but am mates with the bloke who was interviewed. He is a good lad, actually reminds me a lot of you Grey....a few years younger maybe but good similar nonetheless 😂😂
Either way he was pretty happy with their portrayal and doesn’t feel like they crazied him up to much

"If you miss the deadline of 15 October 2018 and a record is created, you will be able to cancel it."
just saw this on the website, however I still think that even opting out will just mean we dont have access to the information, not that they wont compile it, regardless of what they say

you could, it certainly isnt on par with the 'proper' desert, but it can certainly kill someone very easily if there was no easy access to facilities

depends on how 'desert' you mean, I am on the edge of the wheatbelt so while not complete desert, it would incredibly inhospitable for a lot of people, especially for 'city people' who have no concept of water requirements, salts, 4wding etc

The problem with fixed interest rates is you can't make extra repayments beyond a small, set amount without financial penalty. You are effectively locked into debt. A mix of fixed and variable is what I did until the mortgage balance was negligible. That’s true, one way around this though is of interest rates do skyrocket, it generally means that interest rates on deposits go up. So you could pay the max you could in your fixed rate home loan while putting what extra you would like to pay into your mortgage into a high interest account and as soon as you are able, dump the lot into the mortgage.

I can fish, used to be a regular thing but the nearest fish bearing water is 250km away now :-( We do a fair bit of hunting for rabbits and kangaroos, mainly for pest control but for meat as well.
I am most definitly not proficirnt in trapping and am more likely to end up getting trapped by my own damn trap.
In terms of our own meat we have pigs and chickens and are working on the infrastructure for goats and sheep over the next 12 months
