Didn't happen to install avast antivirus software before this happened by any chance?
How old is the system? Can you start in safe mode? Access task manager?

I'd go mains for starters. In a shed for future owners having a simple solar setup is like having no power since its not going to run the big toys. You would likely have to dig a trench as mentioned and if you can do it or have someone to help you it could save quite a bit. I'd get an electrical company out for a free quote and see what they say, ask about the trench and where it should go and how deep. I think its 600mm. You would want 4mm cable or thicker to the shed, 3 phase would be nice

1. 425 days 2. You scored 84.6%. Well done! Your chances of surviving a zombie apocalypse are better than average! Don't get too cocky, though. Remember, the undead never sleep... 3. 82% - Congratulations! You strolled through six months of hell and lived to tell the tale. Your friends and family survived and you won world-wide acclaim as 'the ultimate zombie hunter' Hmmmmm

Nice for sure, but yeah not cheap considering other setups. Think I'd rather go roof top, even if I picked up a 110 landy for more room instead of the Jeep. I drove one of these around Africa for nearly a month earlier in the year, the beds were easier to deploy and pack up than expected.

I've seen the roof top tents, I'll have to check out the camper backs. Sounds interesting.

This is mine. Its pretty stock standard except for the rims/tyres and flares. I have a few things I'd like to do to it if I ever get around to it and if I don't upgrade to a 4 door model first.

I would say when something is not marketed and sold as a toy, its a crossbow. Otherwise when the police seize it and the courts decide its classification.

I use a Drobo unit. Its an external HDD storage unit, has 4x 4tb WD drives with one as a redundancy in case of failure. If a drive fails just replace it and no data is lost. I've had it for several years and it works great. If SHTF I'd just unplug it and take it with me, my laptop too if able. It has everything of importance on it including all my photos that would be the most devastating thing to loose as they are the only thing that can not be replaced. ( I do have a back up back up of the photos just in case) I'm pretty good with numbers and remember all of my passwords as well as all of my credit/debit cards numbers expiry dates security code, passport number, various licences and some other things. A few years ago I started taking out my wallet when I had down time and memorizing them all. Now I know them all off the top of my head

They don't want to make a martyr of the guy. So no shooting. Make a example, f&%k with australia.... This is the result Agreed. As to the martyr, a real martyr would have walked in and blown himself up for "the cause". This guy has had all day and done nothing extreme. If in the end he is shot and killed by the police with nothing more happening then he failed because he was weak/incompetent and beaten by "the enemy". Doesn't make for much of a martyr IMO.

Not to mention that if the suspect is the least bit committed to "the cause" then he may well do something drastic before giving in to exhaustion and paranoia if has the "take them with me" mentality.
