A bit light on at the moment got spuds, silverbeet, manglewurzel, capsicum and tomatoes. Pulled the first of the manglewurzel today roasted them, didn't think they had much flavour, will try making fritter with the next ones.

nearly swapped one of my harleys for an ultralight a couple of months ago the missus put her foot down and said no,reckons I push the boundaries enough on land in the GT and Harleys.Couldn't agrue with her she was right.Never said no to me getting a new toy before, the brain is still scheming though to come up with a good argument.

looks like they're WA based, definitely not on any of my short term plans but might be worth a visit out of curiosity

And while we're at it, knowing a local supplier of oxygen absorbers would be good too... Peter, Got my last lot from China on Friday took a month to get here, there is a seller on ebay "absorbhome" in NSW 100% positive feedback. Just about to order some see how it goes.

If any of the Perth guys find a stockist for Bega canned cheese please share. Benara fresh stock red feather butter, last lot I bought was a hell of a lot cheaper than anything I could find online, the missus even liked the butter and she is bloody fussy. I can't say for sure, but the Re-Store in Leederville stocks some great canned goods (as well as a lot of amazing Italian & other European items), and Napoli Mercato in Harrisdale has some out-there stuff too. Both are great sources of (not cheap) but gourmet preserved foodstuffs. And the Italian desserts at both stores are to die for... Thanks hadn't heard of them before will check them out.

Has anyone looked at small sowing kits All good having all the gear to survive but then Not having any clothes to wear I've collected a few from motels/hotels(about half the size of a match box) bare in mind they're only good for running repairs though.

The Australian War memorial,as part of the ANZAC Centenary are going to project(several times) all the names of the 62 000 fallen diggers one at a time onto the façade of the Hall of Memory at the Australian War Memorial.

Well done Jay. I have an uncle buried in France I never got to know. For those that haven't been to the Canberra War Memorial/Museum well worthwhile, very educational and sobering experience. Real eye opener for my daughter and her boyfriend when we went two years ago.

graynomad is correct but that said the authorities have never hassled me about the amount of ammo I buy.In the process atm of adding a couple of guns to my licence(haven't added a new gun for about 20 yrs) they now want to know everything barr when you had your last s**t. New letter from property owner when you add gun, purchase guns(guns stay at gun shop until additions approved), fill out online application, then submit application, letter etc and addition fee at post office then play the waiting game for approval of additions. Will give an update on how it goes.
