Hi Token. I'm looking in to getting in to some archery. Had a go in a recent camping trip and I couldn't stop lol. Had so much fun. Very adictive. Was wondering if you had any advice for a newbie. Thanks Hi bud, yes plenty. Most important, dont shoot natives, dont shoot any animal with a field tip use a broadhead or blunt. Get a good shop and or do a lot of research and dont shoot in the backyard or anywhere that anyone can see you unless youve got property. Laws are funny in this respect and a good bow and arrow setup will generaly go through a standard paling fence without flinching. Flingin arrows is addictive, and fun in target archery. Hunting with your setup for me is the ultimate. Good to hear your considering taking up the sport, what sort of bow are you thinking about? Haven't had a look yet for a bow. Was thinking of joining a archery club and going form there.

Hi saltnprepper! I store a large amount of store bought bottled water. I have a large amount of different sized bottles. Bottled water will store for practically forever. It does have a use by date but doesn't really mean anything. As long as you store it in a cool and dark place it won't be a problem. Also good to use what you have and rotate your stock. Every time I go camping Ill grab a 10 or 12 litre bottle and throw it in the back of the ute and then replace it later. Bottled water when stored for a long time may get a funny smell or taste to it but it is still ok to drink.
When storing water, like all other preps, you should have different plans and ways to do it. So it would be a good idea to invest in everything from a rain water tank, grey water collection from your down pipes, to storing some tap water and treating it with some bleach in some barrels. All depends on what space and resources you have. I hope this has been helpful.

Just started reading 299 Days. So far so good. Also found it very motivating.

If you store bottled water properly you will have no issues with it. I keep a lot of store bought bottled water on hand in different containers that I store in a cool dark place. I often take the older stock out and throw it in the the back of the 4WD when I go camping and never have issues with it. If you are going to store bottled water, just remember to keep it in a dark area where no sunlight or high temperatures can get to it.
I do have some WaterBOB's on hand to fill up my bath tub with. I think these are very handy to have are cheap to get on Amazon.
The best idea when it comes to water storage is to have a couple of different plans so that you've got fall backs.

Ive got about a month and a half worth of water stored for one person. I go by the 4.5 to 5 litres of water per person per day. All my water is bought bottled water ranging in bottles from the 12 litre upside down water cooler bottles, 10 litre bottle with faucet to 24 pack 600ml water bottle.
Need to top my amount up but will not go too much over this in bottled water. Waiting on installing a rain water tank until my move to a new home. Also would like to set up some grey water tanks to my down pipes for use in the garden and sanitation.(Cheap and easy to do)
Ideally the minimum goal amount I would like to reach is 3 months of water for 3 people.

Awesome back. Good to see all spread out like that. Always very interested in what other people like to carry with them.
