I guess jars don't count, so probably I reuse wooden shipping boxes and turn them in to large garden pots. Just line them with plastic to protect them from moisture and then your good to go.

Well in younger, dumber days I remember living of cans of tuna and baked beans with nightly dinners of ramen noodles haha. Thankfully I learned to cook and found more of a new respect for the food I eat. I also do a one a fortnightly shop and gladly feed myself off that.

Lemon and Olive trees. Lots of herbs, for cooking and medicinal. Mint, Peppermint, Thyme, Dill, a couple different types of Rosemary, Marjoram etc. Also got a delivery of some fresh garlic from my old mans garden, its the absolute best. Also got some chilli coming thru, absolutely resilient plants, pull them out and a couple months later have some more growing.

I agree 100% with Ziggys comment above. Was hoping that convoy they took was going to be a lot longer and slightly more eventful. Have about 50 pages left to read. Good book though.

Yep, it seems the significance of face is greatly under appreciated by the west. Let us remember that Japan had to be nuked twice, even after having all its major cities firebombed into oblivion and all its external resources cut off before it would surrender. It might be best if all the cowboys just holstered their shooters and quietly left the bar ... before the bar and everyone in it, including the piano player, gets shot to bits. Wish I could find the story, apparently the nuclear bombing of japan could have been avoided due to a translation error. When the US asked japan to surrender, the reply in Japanese text basically said "we will consider a formal discussion of the surrender". The American translators according to the story translated it as "we will never consider a formal surrender". Found lots of references to it. www.pangeanic.com/knowledge_center/the-worst-translation-mistake-in-history/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MokusatsuHaha ahhh no don’t think so. Never heard of this before. Do you have any other sources?

Sorry Pete. Can only recommend the IPad. Have one of the original ones in a shock proof case and it’s still going strong.

Yeah I get a case of the Yank ones every now and then. I as well have never had problems with them and enjoy eating them.
Would love to get some Aussie ones by case. Only ones been able to find have been pulled apart and sold separately.

Glad to hear it. American Congress passed a law in 1995 that agreed that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel.

Yeah been keeping an eye on this for awhile, amazing both with the hurricanes and CME's. Massive bushfires across the US and North Australia. And now with the earthquake of the coast of Mexico.
