Found one! Do i get a prize or somethin’? There is only big chested men there. The photos do explain why there are so many Afghanistan men in Aus, crying about family back there. The liberal woke media will focus on we need to bring more refugees into the country, but ignore the other bigger issues.

Afghanistan is a total disaster. The country fell in 11 days. People were clinging onto the planes engines and wheels as they took off and fell to their deaths. The Taliban have isolated the airport and not letting anyone in or out, going around finding all westerners and executing them. Confiscating all private guns, executing woma who are not wearing a Burka. A small riot broke out and they fired into the crowd killing a number of people. A German plan was sent in rescue German citizens and those that assisted the Germans in the war, but had to leave with only 8 person on board as most of them were trapped outside of the airport. If one looks at refuges especially economic, the world over it is always tens of thousands of men and almost no woman. We saw that when fighting broke out in Syria. In the US there has been 2million refugees from South America since Biden took office. Looking at all the planes from Afghanistan it is mostly men, they leave the woman behind. It is a planned and orchestrated total destruction of the west, lucky Australia has no land borders. The only reason why conservatives are in gov in Australia is they stopped the boat people. A conservative Christian blogger that I follow has gone completely ballistic on what Afghanistan means to the world. The USA is now weak and pathetic, it is a clue to China that it is now time to invade Taiwan. Time to get those Gerry cans filled as if war breaks out in the China Sea, fuel will be cut off to Australia… The Apocalypse is on the way, things are now in motion. theeconomiccollapseblog.com/the-collapse-of-afghanistan-has-brought-us-a-lot-closer-to-a-chinese-invasion-of-taiwan/theeconomiccollapseblog.com/afghanistan-is-the-thread-that-will-start-to-unravel-western-dreams-of-a-new-world-order/theeconomiccollapseblog.com/the-myth-of-u-s-invincibility-has-now-been-completely-shattered/

There is no plan B - that's the problem !! To be fair, lock-downs work - you might not like them - but they do work. Its just NSW has done a shit job. Jacinda locking down all of NZ in the face of a single (now 8 cases) of delta yesterday is the way to do it - I cannot stand her or her brand of government - but to her credit she follows public health advice. The only way NZ will avoid a NSW is by doing this, and the public seem willing to tolerate it to avoid the NSW shit show. With the pissing round NSW has done its not surprising its failing and not surprising that other states are getting really pissed with NSW !! Yip NSW leadership getting a lot of blame. NZ has learnt from the NSW disaster. I am looking closely at Victoria, if they are able to contain the virus - they also did snap emergency panic lockdown after very few cases:: early days but their containment also seems to be failing. Also interesting to see how NZ goes with containment. NZ might have a better chance...

Single case. Going hard and early says Jacinta! Complete lockdown across whole country!! Wow, learning from Australia inability to contain the virus. Victoria and media afracked NSW handling of the virus. Now thsy are also sitting without answers, So much for the travel bubble.

I think it is a storm in a teacup...
I have no sympathy or connection to any supremist group, some of their policies are very hypocritical.
But in the fight for freedom of speech we should support their right to their own beliefs.
Holy smokes.... Since when is it illegal's to own literature, go to jail for just owning a book, what next if one has a Bible or Koran you get labelled as a terrorist and sent to jail.. Have a number of 1980's military survival manual detailing what actions to take in a nuclear war - I suppose that makes me a terrorist with nuclear material.
How many terrorist activities have been in Australia due to ultra right.... I don't see them as a threat to national security - in order to take over a government one needs majority of people to support their ideals. The article links them to Russian supremist groups - like they will be responsible for Russia invaliding us. Soon it will be you have 4 cans of backed beans and only allowed to own 3 now you go to jail as you are a terrorist.
In the USA they have organized private militia that is well within their constitution and have right to speak and have their beliefs heard, of course any criminal activity or intent is punished. The crackdown on all fringe people and their beliefs are start to complete retraction of freedom of speech.
The bike gangs in Australia import shipping creates with thousands of guns at a time, no one take any action, no media coverage. Not long and prepper will be treated the same as the ultra right, as all freedom is removed. Australia now has a reputation of being the most dictatorial western country in the world. Read an article the other day if you go to Australia or leave you will be held prisoners for the rest of your life unable to leave or reenter the country..

I was thinking of waterproof options rather than laminating or sleeves so they can be easily folded up. I saw some youtube vids on it and you can get a protectant paint for maps that allows you to still fold them up, but a quick look on fleabay that stuff is ex USA I am sure putting a cheap plastic laminate on will give water proofing. For <$30 a map you can purchase them with waterproof paper.... These are the 1:25.000 maps that I use. www.mont.com.au/products/nsw-topographic-map-waterproof-1-25-000

Where or how do you waterproof the maps? I keep Hema maps in vacsealed bags in my car for all of Central and Northern Qld in my small car survival type kit (which is just signal, maps, compass, fire starting and a good old Hootchie) 30 years ago doing geological exploration used to put maps in plastic sleeve while using them in the field, especially aerial photographs. One can draw and make notes on the plastic sleeve overlay which was good. I would try the self adhesive laminate covers that school children use. $5 at Wollies.. www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/660419?produp=1884182486&cq_src=GOOGLE&cq_cmp=Woolies_8458_BAU_Shopping_Smart_Others_WW-0001&cq_con=All%20Products&cq_term=PRODUCT_GROUP&cq_net=u&cq_plt=gp&cq_med=71700000044911970&cq_gclid=CjwKCAjwjdOIBhA_EiwAHz8xm1XiqXV6aooQoQ8sygbFMPD14qsC4CrcXHlDBi3bjWV8TXB0YZMnThoCTa0QAvD_BwE&cmpid=smsm:ds:GOOGLE:Woolies_8458_BAU_Shopping_Smart_Others_WW-0001:PRODUCT_GROUP&gclid=CjwKCAjwjdOIBhA_EiwAHz8xm1XiqXV6aooQoQ8sygbFMPD14qsC4CrcXHlDBi3bjWV8TXB0YZMnThoCTa0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.dsThose Hema maps are quite large scale. 1:100,000 is pushing the limits of usefulness, 1:50,000 or 1:25,000 are better. Used to navigate by scaling off a map 800m from a windmill or some other infrastructure point like a fence post, then set the odometer on the vehicle to get to the location one was looking for. It is now everything on a tablet with a mapping program that allows you to capture areas, make notes, fill in forms that are saved electronically with all the spatial information. For example the guys that do our weed spraying are issued a tablet and record locations sprayed, chemicals used and species targeted etc...

I work almost daily with with maps - mostly making maps. It is very surprising how many people struggle with paper maps. It is even worse now that most have GPS talk through to get to an area. Having a scale ruler and protractor & pencils is a good idea for bugout bag. Having a hand held GPS or app on your phone is very useful. See link below on how to use your iphone compass which has built in magnetic sensors and link your location to a map. Knowing how to put a track and waypoints into you GPS is a required critical skill. www.dummies.com/consumer-electronics/smartphones/iphone/how-to-use-the-iphone-compass-and-level/

If people because more self sufficient, then this wouldnt be such an issue. People run on solar, would take loads of power companies. Even more load off them if running battery back up. Add in some wind for the home as well, theres another plus. With less load on power companies, they dont need to produce as much power.
Everyone has access to reliable power while cutting down on the oil burn/gas/emissions hoohaa people are raving on about. Work together to solve a problem.
Power is a very complicated issue. In Spain they had massive private solar initiative. Huge reduction on the country power output. But the power companies started going broke as they still have to maintain the power infrastructure (power lines and transformers) to get power to hospitals and businesses and peoples houses in times of reduced solar radiation. Maintaining power infrastructure is almost as costly as generating the electricity. Then there is always the base load like in the mornings and late afternoons when there is a massive power draw, that wind and solar cant cope with.....

The Olympics should change their logo from coloured rings to a big fat white elephant. Qld was the only contender cause all the others have wised up to the economic hardship that the Olympics brings. The QLD premier is a bit of a fool. Only a bunch of stupid Aussies would be fool enough to put their dummfaark hands up to host any Olympics with everything that is unfolding right now and on into the future! Australia spends way to much on sport, punches way above country's population and economy. It is like the ancient Roman empire's bread and circuses while the country rotted from the inside. "Roman politicians passed laws in 140 CE to keep the votes of poorer citizens, by introducing a grain dole: giving out cheap food and entertainment, "bread and circuses", became the most effective way to rise to power. giving the people bred and circuses"

The anthropogenic climate pundits have been saying we have less than 5 years to make a change or the planet is doomed for more than 20y. Eg. build very expansive desalination plant as we would run our of water by 2012. 2012 came and all the dames were overflowing, and still overflowing.... Poor climate buggers they are going off the agenda, people have bigger problems to worry about. pandemic, crime and violence, unemployment, corruption and poverty... There are the issues that will be changing elected governments across the world. Also issues the main stream media do not focus on except pandemic fear mongering.... www.statista.com/chart/7008/what-does-the-world-worry-about/
