yeah unlike with knives there just doesn't seem to be midrange but still really well put together products in the multi tool line.I,ve been looking flat out.Has anyone tried the mini gerbers that go for about 50.Its the screwdrivers and plier system that I,m after.alot of it seems a bit overkill.I could never understand those tiny scissors.they cool and all but what can you cut with those successfully that you cant do with your knife? Also whys everything still got a flippin bottle opener on it.The multitools a strange one for me.but any tool is definatly worth its weight.I,ll get the brand name and see if I can get any feedback on those 25 ish ones. Is this the one you are after hago? au.gerbergear.com/Survival/Tools/Survival-Series-Compact-Multi-Tool_31-000750I got this one 2nd hand off gumtree - it's SO tiny so it lives in my hand bag and I don't even notice it. I haven't tried anything special with it yet, just used the knife. It seems like a well put together little tool. sorry bout the belated reply.uhm I,m not sure because since the new mega fangi dango update on my phone nothings working too well. Its hard to tell thier size as they're clever with the pics to make them look alot bigger than they are but I,ve seen one on a key ring so get the impression that it would fit in the palm of your hand.I think Aussprep might be right with the multi tool.I still need to check that 25 dollar one up close.its the wire snip that diminishes among other things.like I said its the screwdrivers......well the pliers are well handy for urban stuff and bush stuff.I was gonna grab it this week but I,ve opted for the fire extinguisher after the kids got hold of candles and I thought the house was going up.The search continues.

It's the one on the left - so teeny tiny. I wasn't expecting it to be that small, but it's fine because like I said it goes in my handbag and I forget it's there until I need it. The skeletool on the right is in the car.

The skeletool on the right is in the car. that's the one,is it any chop?does it come with a pouch and cam you get enough ......griping power to cut with the pliers/wire cutter?that would be my major issue.Nifty little gadgets are.....well nifty but its whether they are going to benefit us when we need them.alot of the gadgets I just cant see being practical in a real life situation.Like I mentioned before the scissors, also the saw,I think some have those little files that don't file.....crap,ive tried. So really its screw drivers, pliers and wire snip...oh and knife...anything that else that can be used for tea I,ve missed.?admittedly I haven't owned one (hence the research) so I,m wondering besides the above mentioned how often if ever are the other bits and pieces utilized?I,m at the place that sells them now(the 25$ ones)I,ll try and take a picture then post it so you all can see if they look any good.Thats assuming I cam work out how to attach the pic.to be continued. ?
