The more concerning one is the CCP setting up bases across Antarctica. Australia (foolishly) signed the Antarctic Treaty back in the day, which means we can't stop them. When it expires, good luck evicting the CCP... They will inevitably start fishing and mining. Like most other countries, they do not recognise our Antarctic Territory. China is already looking at setting up Antarctica as a fully equipped military jump off point. Using Antarctica as a jump point for long range bombers etc, they could strike pretty much anywhere in the world. www.antarcticajournal.com/china-looking-to-access-antarctica-with-permanent-airfield/#:~:text=The%20frigid%20continent%20of%20Antarctica,airfield%20at%20the%20South%20Pole.

As usual, the CCP will promise not to militarise it. Then do exactly that a couple of years later.
As far as we know, they already have. Part of the conditions of the Antarctic Treaty are that we can inspect anyone else's bases. Except that we aren't, because for some reason the CCP has built its bases away from those of others.

A nation led by autocratic racists with a faltering economy and territorial ambitions. What could go wrong?

WW3 is gunna happen somehow, Tiawain, Russia, China etc, something has to happen. Doubling down on preps, sweetie tried her pressure canning bath yesterday to do some dozen jars of homemade chicken stock. Seemed to have worked OK, whilst I went with some mates to case the gun shops in Brisbane and surrounds !
De-cluttering the shed today, I don't need a heap of s..t Ive accumulated, like 1/2 doz big boxes of AT, XT and PC stuff from 30 + years ago. Big tip run tomorrow.

The defence minister started an investigation into whether any ex RAAF fighter pilots have been recruited by private Chinese companies to train Chinese air force pilots in our style of combat flying. It was in the wake of the UK government Fi ding out that a bunch of ex RAF pilots were recruited to a south African company to train south African air force and others how the UK trains its pilots.

Same here, I've been spending the last few weeks de-cluttering my shed and house. Tossing or selling surplus shit that's just getting in the way of becoming more organised and honed for what's coming! As old Bruce Lee famously quoted:- "Absorb what is useful, reject what is useless, add what is essentially your own.” Will work just as well for your material resources as it does for your knowledge, mindset and training!

Same here, Ive a lot of old radio gear, valve radios from the 30's to 60's, valve stereo amps that are now trendy, etc to get rid of on Gumtree, most of it restorable and trendy. Id kike to see it saved, but I'm too old to start restoring the stuff now, and its part of Australia's radio history. (I actually use a WW2 AR7 valve radio for my main short wave radio in my ham shack).
So true to get more organized for the coming times.
Also sorting out a lot of tools that I have been collecting, tossing any broken ones and repairing any that can be fixed.
Definition of democracy: when the elites choose two puppets for you to vote for and you get f....d either way.

"Much faster timeline" Like since the 1950s and the thousands of times they've said it since then?

"Much faster timeline" Like since the 1950s and the thousands of times they've said it since then? Like Ukraine there were many intelligent reports a military build-up, posturing by Russian leaders. Before it went down. US has also stopped selling Computer chips and components to China putting all their industries is a precarious position. Japan invaded the US/Hawaii due to oil sanctions and blockade, which was totally strangling their economy and abilities. History rhymes. www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/chinas-cpc-congress-passes-resolution-boost-armed-forces-speed-taiwan-reunification"We do not promise to renounce the use of force and reserve the possibility of taking all necessary measures against the interference of external forces and the extremely small number of pro-Taiwan independence separatist forces and their separatist activities," Sun had said says before the opening of the 20th National Congress.
President Xi Jinping, who emerged from the Congress even more powerful, securing a precedent-breaking third term, emphasized China reserves the right to use force in certain scenarios regarding Taiwan:

There is no such thing as "Taiwan independence". This is a CCP narrative. Taiwan is not, nor has ever been under CCP control.

Xi had a power play the other day by inviting all the foreign media into the chambers just before having his biggest rival (and former president) forcefully removed just before the voting on another unconstitutional law change that would give XI more power. The former guy is big on peaceful Taiwan results (compared to Xis military takeover) and friendly to the US newsinfo.inquirer.net/1683692/xi-in-control-at-china-congress-as-ex-president-removed

Things rarely end peacefully when dictators seek to indefinately extend their rule.
