Perhaps our foreign affairs minister should photoshop that image of the soldier and the boy so that Xi Jinping is behind the goat and the soldier is cutting Xi's throat. Since the Chinese mouthpieces claimed the image with the boy was just a joke I'm sure they'd have a good laugh if our foreign affairs minister posted said picture.
Seriously though, the CCP are just clueless in so far as what they say and how they think Aussies will react.

In fact, sell them the whole Bushmaster, it's an Aussie designed and built vehicle. It's not a big deal in the scheme of things, but I'm sure it would annoy the Chinese if we offered it to Taiwan. |

Seriously though, the CCP are just clueless in so far as what they say and how they think Aussies will react. Chinese have really bizarre "sense of humour" They'll see another Chinese on a bicycle clipped by a speeding truck, sustain serious injuries and laugh hysterically when they see them flop to the road way! They'll laugh especially hard when they see a young Tibetan seriously gored by a yak and then laugh even more when they see dummfaark Westerners blow all their expensive med kit stabilizing him! I've seen it! |

 I'm almost finished reading this book - in light of what is happening with the CCP now, a lot of what is written in here makes sense. The book recounts the events in Yan'an during the Second World War, particularly information on Mao Zedong. You can see how the CCP mindset has evolved from it's beginning to now. |

I remember the 2 year old girl in 2011. Made news everywhere as it was captured on cctv.
In their culture, there's more loyalty to family than there is here, but to those outside of family, moral obligations largely cease.

Why can’t we just work/trade with countries with similar values to us? They don't have to be the same just similar. Tthat shit is other planet. Cut our losses and move on, it was fun and we have big holes in our landscape but i reckon we are smarter than this and need to give ol’ Gina, twiggy, clive and all the other turncoats the flick.

Meanwhile here in Aus the baby girl in front of me at the chemist today dropped her dummy, which went under a shop fitting. Mum was weighed down with baby, bag and all the other accoutrements that go along with a trip to the shops with an infant. Frostbite to the rescue, I threw myself to the floor, got as far under the shelving unit I could, and retrieved the dummy. |
