We are in a silent depression. Things are collapsing fast, just being kept up with extending credit card debt. This is very much applicable to Australia, homeless ness is on the rise, number of people owning houses has dropped. Has A “Silent Depression” Already Started In The United States?theeconomiccollapseblog.com/has-a-silent-depression-already-started-in-the-united-states/"TikTok user Freddie Smith, a realtor based in Orlando, posted a video in September claiming that the U.S. economy is in what he calls a “Silent Depression.” In the video, which has amassed nearly 800,000 likes, Smith compares the average 2023 salary and basic costs to those of the Great Depression to highlight the growing cost-of-living crisis in the country. “If you look back to the Great Depression, the house was only three times the average salary. Now, it is eight times the average salary,” Smith said. “The car was 46% of the salary, the car today is 85% of the salary. And here’s the craziest part, the rent was 16% of the average salary, it is now 42% of the average salary.”

And the Labor party last year imported 500,000 more people who needed housing, placing greater pressure on the housing market. Lots of dumdum’s have predicted a housing bubble crash now for decades. They fail to appreciate that almost everyone wants to live commuting distance to a capital city, so prices in these regions are never going to crash. Minor temporary corrections perhaps, but generally they will keep going up in value. Basic supply and demand.

Perhaps keep maintain price, but affordability and availability is now an issue - pushing people out of the city and in some cases out of housing. Many going broke pushing overloading credit facilities. It is going to cause the banks lots of dramas. Money is then pulled out of super funds for emergencies, there are knock on effects. Almost weekly a builder goes broke. Friend of mine in October put 20K deposit on a shed - builder now broke and lost the full deposit.

It's not a labor/liberal thing. Both sides are totally invested in the ponzi scheme. The reality is that there is no housing bubble. These prices are the new norm and at any sign of it softening the government will open the floodgates wider to ensure housing demand and pricing stays high. Both parties take massive donations from businesses and wealthy individuals who profit immensely from increasing housing/rental prices. They will lobby furiously to keep immigration high so that they keep making money and have an excellent track record of getting their way.

The masses will realize their mistake of buying within commuting distance of a city, but it will be too late by then. We who moved 20 plus years ago, and invested in independent systems of power, food and water production, will be the survivors.
Sometimes I impress even myself.

Never a water cannon around when you need one. Especially one that sprays pig blood.

The 'No Christmas' Palestine is hardly surprising. Hamas and the palestinian authority have been conducting ethnic cleansing of Christians and other non-muslim groups. Bethlehem is now a majority muslim area. This wasn't the case until recently. Must not be 'protest worthy' though.

CNN is also on the black swan event, with the gov puppet media is sounding alarms - it is a told you so moment. Even The Mainstream Media Is Starting To Admit That The World Is Teetering On “The Brink” Of Complete And Utter Chaostheeconomiccollapseblog.com/even-the-mainstream-media-is-starting-to-admit-that-the-world-is-teetering-on-the-brink-of-complete-and-utter-chaos/CNN is getting in on the act too. The following comes from an article that they just posted entitled “How 2023 has been the ‘year of the brink’ and 2024 could be worse”… It could have been immeasurably worse. But holding back from the brink in 2023 has simply deferred vast crises to 2024. The post-Covid world is exhausted, cash-strapped, but ultimately more fraught than for decades. Overshadowing it all will be a flagging hyperpower, at best distracted with presidential elections, at worst tearing itself apart in voting disputes and political extremism. The likelihood the United States will be occupied by its own traumas amplifies each risk. The geopolitical given of a US response will be absent, fuelling authoritarian ambition, or a radical upending of the global order. 2024 could make 2023 seem rational and sober. 100 things that happened in 2023 that are going to explode in 2024.. ⚡BREAKING NEWS! ALL HELL is About to BREAK LOOSE!

Conflict continues to escalate in the M.East. Israel raided 11 cities in the west bank, raided all their banking facilities blew up their safes and took the money... Now that is going to trigger their state sponsors, and disrupt an already on the edge banking system.. It is so shocking, definitely a point of no-return and any negotiations with the Palestinians is now over... Assault On 10 Cities: Israel Mounts Largest Raid On West Bank Since War's Startwww.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/israel-mounts-largest-raid-west-bank-wars-start-includes-10-citiesThe headquarters of six money exchange companies were reportedly raided, apparently the result of Israeli authorities accusing these of aiding in 'terror financing' and activities. Several casualties among Palestinians have been reported. The Palestine Monetary Authority issued a statement denouncing the raids. "The Israelis arrested a number of the owners of these companies and seized sums of money from their safes, after blowing them up." The authority further said it considers the attack "an act that violates all international norms, laws, charters and agreements, and aims to undermine confidence in the Palestinian banking and banking sector."
