the 2 party preferred system is an amazingly obvious con but continues to be offered up as democracy. We deserve what we get. I believe donkey votes were pretty high last election, a missed opportunity i reckon. There was no surge in informal voting. It is rare for it to ever go above a couple of percent. What did occur is minor parties/independents gaining ground. There has been a steady trend of both major parties dropping their primary vote over the past decade or so, which shows no sign of halting. Even in the borderline dictatorship of Victoria, the ALP only got 37% of the primary vote at the 2022 election. They lost 6%, which is massive in political terms, but barely even mentioned in the mainstream media. It didn't flow to the Libs either, who also lost 1% of their primary vote. But in true 'the system is rigged' style, both parties gained a lower house seat despite a fall in their vote.

April 18, 1955—Albert Einstein dies soon after a blood vessel bursts near his heart. When asked if he wanted to undergo surgery, Einstein refused, saying,
"I want to go when I want to go. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share; it is time to go.

No one knows what Einstein last words were, as he was in a US hospital and the attending nurse did not understand German. It seems to be an instinctive thing to use our mother tongue that we first leant.

Sounds like something he said well prior to being his "last words". It's a fair question though, as there are plenty of garbage quotes and 'facts' floating arounda about him. The biggest on is the maths. Einstein did not fail maths. He was a top student. Once he came up with his theories, he spent several years studying very complex maths just so he could correctly write down (but not solve) the equations describing his theories.

For the first time in like three years we witnessed a NSW Police car drive into our valley, not sure what he was looking for but anyway it was super weird having a bloody copper infringe on our little community!

I think you'd better get your heads around the technology mentioned in this document. This was the basis of the first gasifier I ever built and it worked. Now with Biden selling off 1 million barrels of strategic oil, I can foresee a oil shortage, and being prepared for that should be no different to being prepared for a food/water/electric etc shortage. archive.org/details/femasimplifiedwoodgasgeneratormar1989withbiomassenergyfoundation2001The original was destroyed in the tractor fire years ago, but I am collecting the bits to build another one. My main purpose is to set up a 3.5 kva Honda generator set on a pallet as a backup, backup power source. I don't think that travel is going to be an issue WTSHTF so am not making it transportable on the ute like version one was. Damm this computer hobby is expensive.

So the people dependant on the 'swamp' that Trump wants to 'drain' have convicted him. Surprise surprise.

The US is in for a spicy next few weeks - Donald Trump convicted on all countsI find this one particularly difficult. He's a crook and frankly an unmitigated PoS and much as I respect my elders for their experience and wisdom, he's one old man that I'd HAPPILY punch in the back of the head. But there's no doubt that not a lick of this isn't about winning the internal war.

Yep. The guy is a scumbag. But it's clear that if he had not gotten involved in politics that these charges would never have been laid. They are 100% politically motivated.

Modern politics is just applying the art of subterfuge and not much else. That’s what i like about trump he is a warts and all kind of person whether you like it or not. It’s one of his major faults but at least you know what he thinks. A career politician hides who they really are.

Just installed Starlink at my retreat. Works great, up to 300mbps download speed. It will make keeping in touch with family possible when we move to the retreat, as there’s no phone reception here.

After the debarkle with Trump, I hadn't considered a breakdown of justice as an end time event, but now it must be seen as a big part of it. Apparently, the prosecutor appointed is only a "Juan Manuel Merchan is a Colombian-born American judge and former prosecutor. Most curious, he is NOT a formal judge, he is ONLY an acting justice of the New York State Supreme Court in New York County." - Armstrong Economics. Apparently that's unconstitutional. www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/geopolitical/the-impact-of-the-trump-verdict-of-our-ai-computer-the-fall-of-the-us-in-8-6-years/Add in a bank collapse, lockdown due to bird flu or something similar, economic collapse, collapse of the justice system and we are heading for some interesting times. And if a nuke war breaks out in the northern hemisphere, the bible prediction of the sun being 'darkened' and the moon turning to 'blood', (due to the amount of dust ejected into the atmosphere ?), could be realistic. Is Australia a nuke target ? I wouldn't like to be anywhere near a major capital city at this time. Frost, we have 5 Skymesh satellite services here, one on each families house, and we regularly get 500 + megs, and especially after about 9 pm, it sometimes tops 1 gig. But, there is a flaw in the satellite, especially if u are relying on it for emergency comms. Storms. During a bad rain storm, the satellite drops out, sometimes for minutes at a time due to the rain absorbing the signal, so a backup of Ham Radio may be worth looking into. It resyncs fast enough after the worst of the storm has passed, and its not much of an issue as I just put my phone outside on the veranda and hot spot to it, but be aware that satellite comms isn't 100% guaranteed. It said "Insert disk # 3", but only 2 will fit.

The 'judge' repeatedly led the jury, in an area where the GOP poll 5-7% down the path of a guilty verdict. This was never going to be a fair trial. The legal systems of most western countries have been captured by the far-left. Similar things went on here in Pauline Hanson's day. She was our most recent political prisoner and had her life destroyed for the crime of trying to represent what her constituency had been asking her to.
If any one of us had our life picked apart and such a huge legal campaign against them by such an awful legal system, they'd surely get you for something.

Late stage collapse they change the laws and implement dictatorship, we have seen many countries go that way recently, Venezuela, Russia, Türkiye who a member of NATO, Egypt, Russia, Myanmar etc.. In the US they stole the last election, it has been proven in court, they have weaponised the legal system against their opponents. Does not matter what you believe about Trump, such behaviour should be resisted. The US deep state dictators see Trump as biggest threat, High probability of US civil war breaking out after Nov. elections. Trump announces nearly $71m fund-raising haul after guilty verdictwww.straitstimes.com/world/united-states/trump-announces-nearly-71m-fundraising-haul-after-guilty-verdict

Its his money, what he does with it is his business, how he accounts for it is between him and his accountant and possibly the tax dept.
It better to be brief than boring.
