Yes, it's a facebook video, but still, the gist of it is: The guy took his Hyundai EV to the dealer for a service in the UK and they gave the radio system and firmware update. While reading the T&Cs of the update, he found that it now had Geo-fencing and timed lockout installed in the system. It went on to say that it would only become active once the laws for such things were passed by the government. China has these kinds of rules are already in place. Having a poor social credit score will limit your ability to travel. The news about a California city wanting legislation to fine businesses for reporting thefts... A part of me says let them do that and suffer the consequences of that kind of stupidity.. The other part of me is afraid it will all eventually lead to a mass of people fleeing California and many of them inflicting there stupid ideas onto other areas.. This has been seen in some areas already.. My 5 cents of opinion.. Yeah already happening. Locals in places like Idaho, Montana, Arizona etc are not happy with all the Californians moving there. California was an amazing place. Incompetence isn't enough to ruin it the way it has occurred. This has been deliberate. |

I think you have to factor in that the population of California is so much higher than any other state, you have to multiply the incompetence that could, has been committed there by many times more than any other state..

Latest ..incompetence.. I have seen in some cities seems to be that they have city council members, citizens complaining enough to get large homeless camps moved to other areas or smaller towns..
News saying this was done in Anchorage Alaska and the smaller towns these camps have migrated to have been quite devastated in very little time.. Frankly.. I look for there to be more ..issues.. with camps making them unlivable.. KnowwhatImean..

I wonder if anyone has thought where all these displaced peoples are going to end up ? Seems to be just relocating the problem to a NIMBY solution, and leaving it to others to solve.
The fact of the matter is, will anyone else believe you ?
