Anyone who hasn't changed an engine in the backyard with a swing set frame and a length of chain hasn't really lived. Na, we had a makeshift crane made with 3 lengths of 2x4 hardwood held together at the top with some 8mm SWR also for the block and tackle to swing off. Yes.... and I can even pop the bonnet and bash the linkages back into place when they jam 😂😂 pretty embarrassing at a set of traffic lights tho 👌 Not quite as embarrassing when stalling the old galant at the lights with a cactus starter motor and having to jump out with a hammer and give it the old 3 knocks on the solenoid to loosen the bushes up so it'll start again lol

Well, its Morrison for the job now. Not the best choice but defiantly not the worst choice from the options. More then likely labor will get the next election even though they have terrible policies planned for their next run at the top job. All the more reason to get serious about prepping, as with labor at the helm, a financial shutdown could be on the horizon

Bishop won't get in because they know she is on the nose with everybody other then the greens voters around the country with her push for billions in foreign aid when the struggling aussies and farmers get sweet F-all

I've got 1 of the Seiko automatic dive watches for the last 15yrs. Although I only ever wore it as a fancy dress watch since I stop scuba diving 13 years ago. The only drama I had with it was the band snapped in the middle during a game of roulette at the casino lol so now it just lives in a box or drawer somewhere as I haven't bothered to get a new band for it

SFFP Qld has a castle doctrine policy written up, good luck getting it made into law. The police found those who did the Sweden attacks and refused to arrest them, options to "talk with their parents"

I just chuckle when I read this sheet. Really. Welcome to the world sleepy citizens of Oz! I've lived in places where this sort of thing was a weekly occurrence. It's irritating but (sadly) you get used to it. Heaven help us if a scared local shoots one of these 'gang members' ... the result could well be that everyone living in cities gets to hand back their registered firearms. It may be just the excuse the government is looking for to make their people yet more helpless and 'dependent'. Na, more likely it'll be what I was eluding to above and all the "problem animals people" would go on a massive "lynch the whities" spree in retaliation then it would become a real Melbadishu

Those people need to make a decision that will cost them either way. Spend some decent coin on home fortification...heavy doors, security glass glazing, roller shutters, angry dog on steroids, etc Or sell up and move away and accept the loss they will make on the sale of their home because I bet the suburbs in those areas have taken a huge hit to their value from the gang roaming around.
They need to make uobtheir mind quick because their state government is too busy playing political correctness.
They mention in the article that people are arming themselves with various things to defend their homes during a break in. If they are serious its only a matter of time before one of the intruders gets killed, then all hell will break loose with the gangs doing robberies. They have already shown that they are not afraid to hurt people when they are robbing them.

As good as it looks to get offgrid, the cost of initial setup is what kills it for the majority of people. Then you have some laws in areas that make it mandatory to be connected to the grid and you will fight tooth and nail to get the power disconnected and the "connection bills" to stop coming.
